This is a good quality paint. The pigment is very intense. It is a creamy paint...not really heavy body but thicker than a lot of tube paints. I'm very happy with it. Great value for the money.

All the colors were good, just the right consistency, except one. The the jar of white titanium. It was so thick, because it was too dry. I attempted to fix a small batch by adding water, but this did not break up the curdles of drying paint in the batch. Sorry Milo! Hope you do better next time.

The paint quality of the set was very good except the white color. It was gummy dry not manageable. I have sent message and questioned the issue however never received respond. I would like to order it again, if all paint color quality would be assured. Update: Vendor took care of the issue without delay. I am very happy with the new shipment the white paint quality is perfect as all the others. When I opened the paints I was excited and hopeful about their pigment and thickness but when I used them on a canvas it was completely sheer. You have to add multiple layers of the paint for even half the sheerness that it had before. I would advise to not purchase these paints but instead purchase paints from the Golden Paint brand which is also on amazon but is much better quality and just $10 more for a pack of 6 2ounce paint jars. The Golden paints are completely opaque and only take one layer on canvas to achieve complete opacity. Lastly, in addition to the paints being really crappy, the red paint came as a hard, rubbery texture which was unlike the other paints in the pack, but the red paint was unusable and didn’t return to its regular state even after using paint thinning oil and water. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE PAINTS LIKE I DID! ... show more

I don't write many reviews on the products I purchase off Amazon and I am fully aware of scams of negative reviews. I paint and I like heavy body paint at reasonable costs, if it can be found and so I tried for the first time Milo's product, 1-because it was USA made and 2-it was touted as a heavy body acrylic paint. Here are my thoughts and I hope it helps for your buying decision. It is a good pigmented paint and it is heavier than say, Apple Barrel (Wal Mart). You should use Milo heavy body rather than Apple Barrel regular acrylic paint. However, Milo is not as "heavy body" in what you might think had you ever used Liquitex Heavy Body or Colore Heavy Body and out of these two Liquitex Heavy Body is the better. Liquitex and Colore are much thicker and will give you the quality of what you are looking for on your canvas for heavy body features. the one exception is Colore's yellow is too thin. Milo will not. It just is not thick enough, but it is a better quality paint to use for acrylics than Apple Barrel. Hope this helps your buying decision. I gave this a two star rating because I felt it would be as thick as Liquitex. I would give it a five star if I were comparing it to Apple Barrel. I will spend more money on Liquitex, but it will give me what I need to obtain the results I am looking for in a heavy body paint. ... show more
