Description of 4" (100 mm) Rotary Table Designed for smaller milling machines. Table diameter 100 mm Table is graduated 360 Degrees. Worm Gear Ratio -1:36, which means that the 1 handle rotation shall turn the table by 10 Degrees. Center Height in vertical position: 2-1/16" (50 mm approx) excluding chuck. Hand wheel is graduated in divisions of 10 min & can be set to zero. Can be mounted both in Horizontal & vertical position. Description of Chuck made from High Quality chuck, the body of which is made from SG Iron & Jaws are of Tool steel hardened & ground. Supplied with a mounting back plate & fixing tee nuts with screws. The Back plate has been drilled in a manner that it will fit to a 3 slot or a 4 slot rotary table. A Tool Steel Back Plate is supplied with Fixing T nuts to Mount the Chuck on It. Back Plate is Drill in a manner that it will fit both 3 as well as 4 slots Table. The Back side of the Plate has a locating Spigot to center the Mounting on to the Table. A suitable M6 clamp kit is included along.

When I first received the rotary table and chuck the chuck was not mounted on the table. When I went to mount the chuck I noticed that the screws for attaching it were so short that only one or two threads would have engaged the T-nuts. These were 6mm X 10mm screws and I replaced them with 6mm X 15mm screws. I contacted the seller on this issue and they were quick to respond that they would look into this issue. Next I set up the rotary table with the chuck to face off a piece of 3/4 aluminum. I took a .050" deep cut and used the rotary table to rotate the part into the cutter. There was some vibration/looseness evident between the rotary table plate and the base so I tore down my setup and found a bolt on the back of the base that is in the center of the bearing. I was able to tighten this bolt about a 1/4 turn and after setting the part back up and trying the cut again I found that the vibration was significantly reduced. There may be some further tightening up of the system that I can do but that is for a later date. All in all, the table seems well made, the chuck is surprisingly robust for its size and I am very satisfied with my purchase and with my interactions with the seller (there was some confusion on the shipping and they were quick to respond and clear things up). I think this rotary table & chuck is a good value and would recommend it for someone doing light work on a small milling machine. If you do larger parts with heavier depths of cut I would look at a larger size rotary table. ... show more

    • Damaged gear and threads

This product came defective. From the get go when you turned the hand wheel there was a tight spot where the wheel wanted to stop. After taking it apart and inspecting I found damage to the gear and noticed really poor workmanship on the thread on hand wheel where it mates to the gear. Wanted this to be a nice useful little tool but you get what you pay for. ... show more

I believe that the hole in the center of the table is made deliberately smaller than the diameter of the shank on the chuck ... I had to turn my mill into a jig grinder and enlarge the hole a few thousanths, but that insured that the chuck was perfectly lined up with the table ... an easy job to do, and well worth it ... the rotary table is nicely made, and will prove to be very useful ... show more

It arrived missing the bolts and t nuts for the chuck after I got that resolved by greeting them locally I found it isnโ€™t as solid as I hoped I would not Recommend it

I disasembled the unit and chuck cleaned all parts and relubed with quility lube... The tool is very nice, machine work was very good. However it was gritty and dirty inside and was not totally smooth during 360 rotation.... now works perfectly run out is under a .001 does a great job on small parts. You cant beat it for the price.... ... show more

It's tolerance are sloppy. Lots of back lash. When turning it it gets stiff then lose. Climb mill with it prepare I lose small tools. It made the part I needed it for but with A lot of chatter. The size is good for the small mill I have and I do not make parts for sales, so it is ok. Still better than not having one. Oh the degree marks around he table don't like up with the tee slots ... show more

Using the three jawed chuck the runout is over .020. Pretty much useless. If you had the 4 jaw chuck you could adjust it. Company offered me 10% off my net order but no refund. Like i would ever order any more junk from them!

Used for alternative purposes and gets job done. Gave to friend for use on her Mill and she says actually not a bad deal just check for allowed clearance before buying. Very possible height may get in the way. Other than that this is a perfect fit for my use. Thanks "S. Student"
