I needed something I could sleep on that wasn’t a hard surface and that was easy to move (comparing to a traditional heavy and bulky mattress). I’ve been using this product for almost a year now in my work apartment, and I happy that I chose it. It isn’t something that is super soft but still gives me enough comfort to sleep. I have two stacked together (see pictures), so when I have visitors, one can be pulled out and made into another bed. If you want more comfort, adding a layer of memory foam on top is also a good choice! I tried the folded form but never really needed it: it feels a bit awkward to sit on since it’s short, and the part where your back can lean on is low and not curved (needs pillow). But I think it’s a cool idea and would come in handy for other purposes. ... show more

We hosted a crowd for a holiday weekend and used these in the common areas in our home. We have as many beds as is reasonable to have *IN* the bedrooms. Some of the kids were able to sleep in the family room adjacent to the parents’ room. They were comfortable with the arrangement. When not in use, we actually have them stacked in a guest bedroom. Good product. I think it would be better if it had handles so that I can move it around the house easier. I like cover, it's soft and it fits snug on the foam mattress.
