  • Excellent dog nail trimmers!
We go through a set of these every year or two. They remain sharp longer than most and cut through our blue tick, walker hound mix cleanly and quickly, without crushing the nail. Once we feel they are getting dull we get another pair. The price is right and im not sure if I could sharpen them to a like new edge. ... show more

  • Anxious big dog approved (pit mix & German shepherd mix)!!
I have a German shepherd mix and pittie mix. Getting their nails groomed has always been an issue. They have thick and wide nails. We are starting quick training! Finally found these amazing clippers that are easy to use and my dogs don’t freak out as much! First day we did a few nails. Next day we did a few more and finished both of the pups! It was quick, easy to use and super effective. They are durable and easy to use. Make sure you have enough light to see any dark nails! You can always go shorter, you can’t go back after you’ve clipped a quick. Take your time and watch for your pups body language! It’s easy as can be when you’re careful! I had my wife keep the pup distracted by petting them and giving them a little love while I did it. Will be recommending these! ... show more

  • Sharp and efficient
Very sharp and easily cuts through large dog toenails (standard poodles and livestock dog). Yes the grips are going to eventually come off as they are just slipped over the ends. I put two little dabs of super glue just inside the handle covers to hopefully alleviate that. Easy fix. If it's really bothersome a quick couple of layers of grip wrap should take care of it. No issue with the depth guard getting in the way as it is nice and snug, may wear out over time, but for now it's holding up. ... show more

  • Great, precise tool.
I kind of love this pair of clippers. It’s cut my large (80lb) dog’s nails like butter. It’s so sharp that I can slice off tiny shavings of about a millimeter. I think the sharpness makes it more comfortable for the dog, since a duller blade would feel like more pressure. I’ve trained my dog to love nail salon time. She jumps up on the table with enthusiasm. I trim her nails a little bit every few days. These are so sharp—please watch instructional videos before trying nail clipping on a dog the first time! The only thing I don’t like about this tool is that the straight locking piece often swings in the way while you are trying to make a cut and blocks you. I do not use the depth guard anymore, but it isn’t in the way. It does make it a little harder to see what you’re doing if you use the guard. I replaced my last one of this brand recently as it was getting a little dull and wasn’t cutting cleanly after about a year and a half. I’m in a salt air environment that eats metal though, and so your longevity may be better. It may be possible to get it sharpened rather than replacing the whole tool, but at this price I’m happy. ... show more

  • Literally magic ✨✨ Literally magic ✨✨
I work at a grooming salon and a few of my co-workers have this exact pair of nail clippers. I've borrowed them a few times and loved how they work and feel in my hands, the dogs seemed to like them much better than the usual ones as well, so i decided to bite the bullet and buy a pair for myself. I just gave them a test run today on my 7 month old puppy, and like the title says, they're quite literally magic. Unlike the normal storebrought clippers, they slice the nail cleanly instead of crushing it, and they don't slide around the nails or lock up randomly. They have a good handfeel and make it easy to slice off more length from the nail without making you stress if you're too close to the quick or not. Definitely recommended, for $9 you'll definitely get your money's worth and then some ... show more
