It can handle bad weather and automatically recognizes when I'm exercising
The smartwatch comes with a charging cable and an additional elastic watch band. I swapped out the original rubber band for the elastic one. The watch has a metal frame around the screen with a hard plastic body at the back. It also has a built-in flashlight that I can turn on and off by long-pressing the orange flashlight button on the left side. Additionally, there’s a menu button on the top right and a back button on the lower right. The user guide includes a QR code with a detailed setup instructions video for downloading and configuring the companion app, GloryFitPro. I can get it from either Apple's App Store or Google Play. I used the latter and paired my watch to the app via Bluetooth. The app allows me to link my STRAVA account, though Google Fit isn’t supported. Within the app, I can customize the watch face or download more watch faces, adjust units, and set favorite functions. Speaking of functions, the watch offers many options. Pressing the menu button brings up a full list. The Daily Activities function lists my steps, calories, and distance. I can make calls with the watch and check my heart rate. During workouts, the watch actively monitors my heart rate and distance, along with other metrics based on the type of workout. It also measures my blood oxygen levels, evaluates my sleep patterns, and tracks how many hours I sleep. Additionally, there are built-in breathing exercises to help reduce stress. In the settings, I found that the watch can automatically recognize exercises like running, walking, cycling, and spinning, though this feature isn’t enabled by default – I activated it. The watch also measures my stress levels, lets me set alarms, and syncs the correct time automatically. By the way, the Measure function allows me to check my heart rate, blood oxygen, and stress level all at once. The Weather function provides current temperature, humidity, air quality, whether it’s cloudy, and a 7-day forecast, including today’s weather. I can also activate my assistant, use a stopwatch and timer, control music playback, and access a basic calculator. The torch function allows me to turn on the flashlight, adjust brightness, and choose between a constant or flashing light. I can use the Find Phone function and the Shutter function for remote camera control. I can even track periods, but that needs to be set up through the app. The watch includes an on-screen compass, which I tested by comparing it to a traditional oil-filled compass - it is accurate, giving me consistent and reliable readings. The watch is tough, I can use it in high temperatures and humidity. I can do any outdoor activities in different weather conditions. It continues to function even after I expose it to heat, temps over 90 degrees, and humidity, near 100%. The watch also seems resistant to rain, as it continued working after I had to walk in a downpour. Nice watch with good screen
I ordered this smartwatch from Amazon Vine because I wanted something that could handle my outdoor activities while still keeping me connected without, I need to be getting my phone all the time. The first thing I noticed when I unboxed it was the two different wristbands, one of silicone and one of nylon, both of which felt pretty comfortable on my wrist, though I decided to use the silicone wristband because I personally think that it looks better. The watch has a fairly large screen, with this bright HD display that is easy to read in different lighting conditions, and I liked that I could change up the watch face with some of my own pictures, which made this watch feel a bit more personal to me. One of the main things I was curious about was the fitness tracking, especially since it has several different sport modes. I tested it during a few runs, and it kept up with my steps and distance pretty well while syncing to the GPS on my phone. The watch is supposed to be waterproof, though I didn’t really take it anywhere near water aside from the occasional splash from washing my hands, so I can’t really comment much on that. Overall, this smart watch handled what I needed it to, though I mostly stuck with the basic functions, as the extra features are a little too much for me to stay on top of all the time. ... show more
