Description

The Sand-It™ from Milescraft is the compact, quick and convenient sanding solution for all small projects. The unique, patented, multi-sided design gives you the ability to sand multiple surfaces using the same sanding block. Each side of the Sand-It™ has a different shape perfect for all projects. The sanding block offers three different rounded edges, a concave profile, a flat profile, and a tight edge that gets into the corners. For detailed radius work, two small rounded edges allow you to get into tight areas and edges of routed boards. An edge with a larger radius speeds up bigger projects using a broader curve that covers more ground. For sanding rods, spindles, poles, and more, the concave face cradles the round edge of your piece and quickly smooths it out. The flat surface is great for sanding pocket hole plugs, wood plugs, or removing any rough surface. Use the tight edge to squeeze into the nooks and crannies to finish off sanding. The Sand-It™ is also highly adaptable and quick to modify. It is compatible with any quarter sheet of sand paper. Change grit from course to fine in seconds with a quick snap. Bought to use on dowel rods on my drying racks to sand between layers of Helmsman water based spar urethane. I’m very pleased with the function and results. The only improvement I would love to see is a tool that at 3 convex shapes to save on paper when specifically sanding dowel rods. . That being said the other configurations are clearly beneficial. The block uses 1/4 sheet of sandpaper. I love the simplicity of the center bar to firmly hold the paper in place. Comes with 150 grit paper installed. Would absolutely buy again. ... show more

    • Good for consistency
Good for consistency in your sanding. It’s ergonomic enough to maintain control of your sanding. Changing sand paper grits is pretty straightforward. Lift the center block out and replace the paper. Just make sure you have paper that is pre-cut to 4 1/2” X 5 1/2”. Line it up- it took me a few times to get it aligned right and push the center block in. I’m not sure on the durability of the block ( it’s plastic) even changing the paper has roughed up the center block significantly plus the pressure of removing and installing the block itself could lead to potentially breaking the block. Time will tell but for small projects- it will suit most purposes. ... show more

I got this to assist my wooden ship modeling build. I find it comfortable, it seems durable and easy to handle but time will tell. I particularly like the functionality and grip to conform to the piece I'm sanding.

    • Perfect for sanding small drywall patching jobs!
This sander works wonderfully for sanding small drywall patching jobs, where you want the integrity of the painted wall surrounding to be preserved. The situation I recently encountered was where a wall anchor crumbled as I was attempting to extract it and I had no choice but to knock it down inside the wall. So, small but deep hole that required several layers of patching compound and targeted sanding. This sander worked like magic for this! Well worth the investment!     • Makes sanding easy!
This tool is definitely worth using if you'll be hand sanding a lot of walls. I had to patch up nearly every wall in my house before painting so it helped to sand smoothly over flat and curved surfaces. Easy to switch out sandpaper once you get the hang of it. I found that 4.5 x 5.5 in sheets of sandpaper work well as replacements ... show more

LOVE THIS! If you have trim in your house get this and save yourself a headache! This fits perfectly on the trim allowing you to get in those tiny cracks! I would buy 10 more of these!

    • Getting into the crevices
I was looking for a way to not screw up my inset panel for the nightstand I’m building. I’m new to woodworking so naturally I may have used a touch too much wood glue. This bad boy helped me get into the crevices I needed. I didn’t think I would need it until my wife told me that she wanted to stain the wood instead of painting it( for the first time ever).
