This jig is absolutely amazing! best jig on the market in my opinion. And the price! I will 100% recommend this to anyone that wants an easy to use circle jig. The quick release faceplate is something that other manufacturers could learn from no more messing around with tiny screws every time you need to use it. With this feature you just push the lever twist and done. I think the only thing that improve this would be to make it out of aluminum (don’t get me wrong the heavy plastic is more than enough)

This is overall a great product. The issue is more with the setup/instructions and the accuracy for a complete circle. Basically, I would recommend watching a video over following the instructions. The video on their YouTube channel did a much better job walking me through the process than the instructions. For example, it wasn't clear that I needed to use my 1/4" collet adaptor for the centering pin. I get that the straight bit is 1/4" but when setting it up it was confusing. Also, the centering bit wobbled a little within the centering jig, which probably messed up the diameter function. Further, it wasn't clear if I needed to use my router base's screws to attach the jig or if I should use the included bolts (which wouldn't fit regardless). Finally, the inside/outside diameter stuff was confusing. Again, the video helped, but it wasn't entirely clear what I was supposed to be thinking of when making a hole. That could also just be me. However, once I had gotten through the setup, using it was relatively simple, and the circles it cut were overall pretty great. It uses a small wood screw to hold the center pivot down, which will wobble slightly giving radial variances. I did wish that screw was a bit beefier/longer, but since this is woodworking I'm okay with a bit of play. I used it for making an elevated dog bowl, and for that it worked great. The attached picture is right after cutting the two holes, with just a minor bit of sanding. I also appreciate that the straight bit is included. And like I said, once it's installed it's pretty easy to use. Overall you should get this.

Almost did not buy this after reading several reviews by self-described career carpenters who complained about the accuracy. I also found that at first, my circles had some small errors. However, Later I found that when I went through the instructions (and followed them) the results were really good. Key is not to eyeball anything, Use the included bushing to exactly center the bit when you attach the base plate, and know which marks are which (they are labeled). In the end, very happy with the jig. Also, keep the instructions, because if you ever need to do a smaller circle, that jig is used in a slightly different way.

I was very skeptical about this. They actually work amazing. We needed a way to cut perfect round 24” holes in a 48”x48” 1/2” plywood. We then double 90° routed the top and bottom side of the opening so no tough edges. It can out fantastic. I’m excited to use for other things now. Only down side it DOES NOT WORK. With small hand routers. :-( I had to buy a full size router.

I am so happy with this purchase. Previously to cut circles I have made my own jig which takes time and isn’t nearly as solid of this product. I had to route a 47” circle through 1.5” red oak plywood and this tools save the day. Took some much pressure of the job I will now use it every time I need to cut a circle. Hooked right up to my router so setup was very quick
