I’m 33, but never had an issue with dry skin, but it’s a little textured from acne that I’ve always struggled with. It does a great job of masking those blemishes, and didn’t look cakey. It didn’t take any layering, it covered well with just one layer. It hides my circles under my eyes well too. I LOVE this foundation. This is exactly what I've been searching for. The color matched my skin perfectly (that's SO rare!). It went on easy and flawlessly. It covered so nicely. My skin didn't look dry, shiny or made-up. It just looked and felt beautiful. For myself this is an absolute keeper!

I usually do not write reviews, but I came to Amazon for some foundation because I am pregnant and checked some of the ingredients with my current foundation and found some not so great things in it - truly shouldn’t have been using it even not being pregnant. I have very acne prone skin and it’s usually cystic, large, and dark red in color. I do use a small amount of concealer before applying this foundation. It goes on with 3-5 pumps on my wet beauty blender and spreads, blends, and covers beautifully. It looks heavy, but it feels very light weight on. It does not dry out my skin or make it too oily. I already have naturally dry skin so I usually use a moisturizer first then the concealer, then the foundation… *chefs kiss* Really great product for the price and it will last a while. I like that this foundation comes in a large variety of shades, even multiple options for fair skin. I usually buy NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop in Alabaster, and after looking at the photos of this foundation, I chose Alabaster as well. It was a nice match, but I haven't tried other shades so can't be sure that another wouldn't have worked as well or even better. It was easy to apply with my damp beauty blender sponge, and it provides good coverage. I didn't dislike the feel or look of it at all... it was just the smell for me that I can't get past. After you've had it on for a while the smell becomes less noticeable, maybe you get used to it. But for me, I don't want to have to smell it up until that point every time I wear it. I'm someone with quite a sensitive sense of smell and I also really dislike foundations or powders that smell. I also tend to dislike strongly scented lip products, it needs to be gentle and pleasant or neutral. If you're bothered by scents in your makeup, this might not be for you. ... show more
