This was simple to put together. Everything was there and the instructions were relatively easy to understand, though it could be improved. As for the rack itself, it does the job. It holds weight, doesn’t wobble, and expands my exercise options. That being said, there is room for improvement. The pull up bars are a little narrow for my tastes. A 1 inch tube should have been used. Also, it’s fairly short for a rack. I’m 6’1”, so pull ups require a significant knee bend. I need another 2 feet or so. The accessories that came with it could also be better quality. For instance the t-bar row handle warped out of shape (see picture) upon first use with 90lbs on it. Not sure if it’s a metal quality or thickness issue, but I imagine it shouldn’t bend on first use. Aside from the issues above, it’s a good rack for the price. I’m not stocking a pro gym or fitness center so it fits my needs. You can spend a lot more for a lot less if you want a rogue or sorinex rack. This gets the job done for a home gym. ... show more

I did not like the way the parts were labeled . There are several bolts taped to cardboard with small stickers on them that was hard to read. There where different size bolts and they were all mixed together. I had to measure each bolt. The photos showing how to put it together was hard to follow. also the instructions showed , 1+4+4+5. witch means 1-bolt, 2 washers, and a nut. But what i found out is that it was only 1 washer NOT 2. so that part was wrong and confusing . But I will same once completed it was a GREAT product. ... show more

I was looking for a power cage to replace my 20 year old weight bench. My basement had a limited height so I had to search long and hard to find a power cage that would fit. I found this one. It was not hard to assemble and the tools needed were provided with the instructions. The power cage gave me new excercises that I wasn't able to do with the weight bench such as seated row. So happy with my purchase. This is a sturdy, well designed cage for anyone(beginner, intermediate, or advanced) who is looking for a home weightlifting cage. I have an average 11'x12' bedroom and the size is perfect. It sits a few inches from the wall for the plates to clear and I still have more than half my bedroom for floor exercises. Even accommodates my 8' ceilings with the ability to do a full range of motion pull up without hitting my head on the ceiling. Cable system is very smooth. Assembly was pretty easy, just pay attention to the length of bolt you're using as two different lengths of bolts that are only 5mm different. Directions were pretty good and if the illustration isn't that great you can always pull up the picture on Amazon for a clear view. Once everything is tightened and in place it is solid! All the accessories included make this home gym an awesome deal. There are dozens of cages to choose from and I am so glad I chose this one. I look forward to years of training on this. ... show more

Tough, but not impossible to put together by yourself. Also don't freak out, shipped in more than one box but on different days sometimes. I thought I was missing half my rack when it showed as delivered. The other box came the next day. It says this in the description but I missed it.

Would purchase this again and again. Fits well in my small garage. Ships in 2 boxes, but FedEx delivered both on the same day. Shipping does take a little while. Shipped about a week after I ordered and arrived in about 3 days after it shipped. Took about 3 hours to assemble by myself. I was dreading assembly based on the reviews but it wasn’t bad at all. Just follow the pictures. The hardest part for me was the pulley assembly. You have to take the pulley apart to thread the cable through it and that wasn’t mentioned in the instructions…but even with my monkey-brain, I was able to figure it out. There was no damage to the kit at all. Pristine. I use it every day. There’s nothing I wish it had that it doesn’t already have. 5/5. 10/10. 100/100. ... show more
