This is one of the best bang for buck barbells I found. After doing a ton of research, I was really impressed with the specs of the Mikolo 7ft olympic barbell. However, after receiving it, I'm even more impressed. First off - the matte black is just sweet in person and the knurling on this bar is aggressive but not so much so that it hurts when squatting or having a ton of weight on the bar. I'm by no means loading this thing up to the max but it has held up plenty fine with ~300+ lbs on it when squatting or deadlifting.

The bar has been great after a year or so of use in my garage. The knurling is medium I’d say which would be good for most people. The bar has very good spin which I would recommend more for people that are doing Olympic lifts but you may find it annoying if you’re doing a lot of deadlifts. For the price, you are getting great value for your money and I highly recommend

My review is for the 72” barbell variant. I needed something shorter to maximize space in my home gym, and was working with a limited budget. The knurling on this bar feels excellent, and the sleeves spin smoothly. For the price it seems adequate for my use. The paint/coating scratches easily, but overall the bar feels robust. At 12KG it’s lighter than most bars, but the space saving design was my first priority.

Works great. I have been using it consistently for several months now. It has good knurling and haven’t had any issues with rust. It has been slammed and dropped doing deadlifts and overhead press and hasn’t shown any signs of damage.

Mikolo has become my go to with barbells. I now have two. I have the black and red one and now this all black version. The bars are rated at 1500lbs. I’m not sure they can handle that but it feels like they could. You can feel the quality in these bars. The bearings are smooth and the appearance of the bar is that of quality. For the money, it’s hard to believe they are this nice. The knurling is perfect. I hate highly knurled bars. This bar is perfect.
