I absolutely love the look of this silverware! It is pretty and slightly elegant with the gold accents, which is why I ordered them. I read some reviews that talked about them not being heavy enough. I'm not sure what kind of silverware they had previously, but these are a perfect weight (in my opinion). They have enough weight to them to know you are holding something but not too heavy that they want to fall out of your hand. I think all of the pieces are very good sized, except the tablespoon (or cereal spoon) is a "little" large. It looks very large, but I compared it to my old ones, and it is just slightly larger than those. I just hope they'll fit in my mouth. LOL Other than that, for the brand and the price, this set is absolutely perfect, especially since it also includes several service pieces! Can't wait to use them everyday!! One thing you should know is that all the pieces are over sized and quite large. There is also good weight to them. They are not flimsy and will not bend at all. The design is classy and the little touch of gold puts the over the top. They make for a lovely place setting. Love them.

We were in search of a set of heavyweight flatware and this set came up in search. It is offered in all silver, frosted and the gold. We chose the gold. This is truly a heavyweight set and well balanced. The sizing is larger than most sets which makes the set very high end in my opinion. The knives are serrated. The spoons are deep welled and the finish is super shiny! Makes for a lovely addition to the dining table! Yes, it’s a bit pricey. But you get what you pay for and we were not disappointed and I don’t think you will be either. A word of note….certainly, you can put these in the dishwasher. But to preserve its super shiny finish and to ensure no rusting occurs, it’s recommended hand washing. If you are one of the crowd who lives for your dishwasher, I advise the all silver set if you want to take the chance as it’s least likely to encounter those issues. Happy dining!! ... show more

Love this silverware! Did you ever pick up a utensil and feel like it’s one step above cardboard with aluminum foil? Not only beautiful, but the perfect weight. I ended up getting these sets for my son’s family, and my sister-in-law. They love them too!

I don't know whether it's because we got used to the weight of the Knork set we were using (which I don't recommend), but these feel lightweight to me. That being said, they're very pretty and seem well made, e.g., all one piece so no change of breakage. They're well balanced, the price was great, and so far they're handling being put through the dishwasher very well. My only cons are I wish the handles were a bit more comfortable for my neuropathy-plagued hands, and I can't seem to find how to purchase an extra hostess set. ... show more

I wanted some flatware with a little extra pizazz and this set with the gold accents fit the bill nicely. They have been washed in the dishwasher regularly for nearly 5 years. I’m not particularly careful with them and Just NOW they were starting to look a little warn but I soaked them in hot water and vinegar and hand dried them and revitalized them nicely. I have bought a few other sets over the years and this set has truly gone the extra mile considering my lack of tender loving care. Higher priced but well worth it! ... show more
