Wasn't expecting much, but the machine works just fine the welding rods that came with it were jumpy and not wanting to work correctly but all in all is a good find at a good price and a good buy

I bought this welder for small projects. I Tested it for a few minutes and it worked fine. But when I used it for 1/2hr it stoped working. Unfortunately, the timeframe to return the welder had expired by then, and now I will have to trow it away. Very disappointing product.

easy to use, actually cuts through rusty paint, tested with 1/16 rod on 1/8 to 1/4 inch steel welded just fine set between 3-4 on dial. didn't have to fight to get a arc with very little surface prep. like that if i need to do some quick welds this is pretty handy. got it for shop antics but may get another for home.

It did not meet my expectations! It surpassed them greatly. Super welder machine. Lite weight, comfortable grip. Welded a 1/4" carbon steel plate effortlessly. I certainly recommend it. Might not hold up in a shipyard environment, but for small jobs around the farm, fantastic!
