These shorts are featherweight and stretchy and very comfortable for casual use and for workouts. I’m 5’6, 165 , muscular thigh/hip and take size S. I removed the string closure and the fit is good at the waist. 5” inseam is perfect, fit is slim-not baggy. Fabric is light and susceptible to pulls with friction, but that’s only an issue over time. I chose 5 inch unlined, size L. Fits great, quality is great, length is above the knee. I rolled up the waistband once to get a slimmer fit, but probably could have gone down a size. I am skeptical of fit and quality as with many things on Amazon. These are well-fitted, not narrow at the leg opening but certainly NOT BAGGY and looking like a mini-skirt! Will start to wear them for daily use and they are good at the gym with the zippered pockets to hold my phone and BONUS BACK ZIPPERED Zipper seems ok quality as is the material and construction but jury out as materials are lighter weight than other Haimont brand here on Amazon. Price is what I would expect for non-status brand!! It will get 5 stars if it holds up to more wear or if they add liner shorts even at slightly higher reasonable price. There is no linear which I appreciate and I can wear them anywhere! The best part is that they have zippers on the pockets. They also have options for non zipper pockets as well. Shorts feel comfortable as far as material goes until you compare the abrasiveness of the waistband against the skin. Size runs a bit smaller than size but will fit if you like them that way especially if you are dieting and trying to work down 1 size off the waist.
