If your hair is stubborn, thick or kinky and you have the fly aways or little pieces around your edges, then it MAY be too light. It does have a light hold, but I notice it stays on better when I double up in product or/& when my hair is dry. I have 4 C hair and baaaby this holds my natural 4C hair very well and for a good period of time top. I'll be buying more and I do recommend plus ot doesn't turn white and flaky so that's a plus

It smells ok and holds great . My only issue is how tiny the jar is !! You definitely don't get enough product for the price .

I love this product because it help grow my edges. It doesn't hold well but it help grow my edges. I can't say that enough. If you use it alone it's okay but when you mix with another edge control it turns white.

Love this product, it’s the first one I have found that doesn’t leave flakes or that nasty white wax look some other products leave. I have beautiful locs but my edges are STUBBORN and this does the trick. Interested to see how it holds up in the heat and humidity since it’s almost that time. Other than that, I love it. I did have some sticker shock and was irritated at how small the jar is but I’ve used this product almost daily for my 6 year old daughter and I and I still have a little left. $7 for two months of product isn’t bad.
