I was caught unaware that these bag are meant for the European Market as I didn't read the fine print Apparently from reading reviews from other similar Amazon shoppers they claim that the bags work just fine and I would agree with that.Miele is claiming according to others using these bags void the warranty.If that's the case its not an issue for me as my vacuum is out of warranty. Besides that how would they ever know unless you leave the bags in the unit if you did bring it into service :) Perhaps keep an American bag and filter on hand to insert just in case My concern and its a potential real one is that one of the filters seem inferior to the US made version which could lead to an issue.If there is anything else that could be a concern its lost on me as the bags have been excellent Having said that unless you are using it in a commercial or industrial setting my perception is you are probably just fine and for the most part Miele is likely just protecting their market share in the US and charging the xtra premium because they can.If I were Miele I would suggest coming up with a better story as I doubt the bags themselves are seriously any different or vacuuming US dirt is any different than European dirt running it through their vacuums :)

I change the dust bag as soon as it is full. Keeps the exhaust air fresh. Never overload the dust bag for health of Miele vacuum and freshness of air.

Miele products are known for their quality and from my experience, they deserve all the accolades they receive. Add to an already outstanding list of quality products the Miele 3D Efficiency Dust Bags. No detail was overlooked nor was the bag made with less than 100% quality. It made me feel so much better to see how well they keep the dirt in the bag and not return it to the room as some bags do. Some products arrive with flaws that demand to be returned to the manufacturer, but not Miele. If I were not so cheap, I would have torn the bags apart just to locate a flaw. My external examination found not one flaw including missed stitches. The plastic holder fit the internal holder perfectly. What can I say? These bags are perfect!
