I’d purchase this for myself if there was a human sized one! Haha! I got this bed for my cat, and it’s extremely nice and soft and cozy. My cat just looks at it instead of laying on it, which she does with every cat bed. She’s missing out!

Pet beds are difficult, as you probably know -- you never know if your pet will like what you buy it. I've bought and returned a few pet beds, but both our kitties immediately took to this one for some reason no one will ever know. They were both lying on it within the first 24 hours. It's extremely soft and snuggly. One of our kitties sleeps right outside our bedroom door (we lock them out at night because otherwise they'd keep us up all night), which is so cute and sweet. So we wanted an inexpensive bed to put outside the bedroom for her. I bought this and an AmazonBasics one actually -- they both love this one and totally ignored the Amazon one. Yes, I know it's right by a heating vent in the pic, but that's not why she loves it I don't think -- we had it downstairs in the living room for awhile (with the other bed I mentioned) and they took a shine to it there too. Overall yes, I recommend it, especially for the price. And every morning when I get up she's sleeping outside our bedroom on this bed, and she meows when I open the door and is excited to see me and spend the day together. Adorable! ... show more

The fluffiness of this bed is amazing. It’s the perfect size to be used in crate training. Also the bed is a breeze to get clean, we just throw it in the washer on quick wash and medium setting in dryer .

Abigail is not a dainty tabby cat. She's more than 20 inches long from nose to base of tail, and weighs in at a hefty 16 pounds. We bought the cushion nearly three months ago to make the hard plastic bottom of the Amazon Basics Top-Load Pet Travel Kennel comfortable. The bed's dimensions are slightly larger than the bottom of the kennel, making it a tight fit, but she has room to sit up and turn around. We've since bought a second cushion for her favorite sunny spot in the TV room, and she uses it every day to take her frequent naps. Abigail is an adoptee, and we purchased the kennel for her first official vet visit. She was not amused, apparently, by having her claws clipped, and urinated on the cushion when she was returned to the carrier. I hauled her home, emptied her out into the house, and hosed down the kennel and cushion. I tossed the bed into the washer, and it air dried in a few hours. It looked and felt as if it hadn't been used at all. At this time, after daily use, the filling on both cushions hasn't compacted, and the covers remain soft. This is a great bed for in or outside a crate. It is washable but be cautious when drying even on a low setting the fluff melted and got a little hard- it still works but for something I will launder often that is unfortunate.
