Unlike standard rock wool embers, Platinum Embers fluoresce brightly and radiate broadband infrared heat — giving your fireplace the warm, realistic look of a natural wood fire. Made in the USA from high-grade ceramic fiber and coated with a precious platinum catalyst, these embers are a premium upgrade for any vented gas fireplace or gas log set. Each ember is made from high-grade ceramic fiber and coated with a small amount of precious platinum metal. This coating is what makes them glow far brighter than standard mineral wool embers. When placed near the burner flame, the platinum catalyst combusts unburned hydrocarbons escaping from the gas burner. This reaction causes each ember to glow and fluoresce with a bright, lifelike intensity. In addition to their visual impact, Platinum Embers radiate broadband infrared heat — warming your room more effectively while reducing soot buildup on your gas logs over time. Gently pull each ember square apart to expose the interior, then place sparingly on top of your existing rock wool or mineral wool ember bed. Spread evenly — do not clump. Instructions included.
