  • 240V Heat Pump Dryer - The Heat pump dryer does not require ventilation, making it easy to install. Power cord should be purchased seperately and voltage requirement: 240V.
  • Ventless / Stackable Dryer - No ventilation is required, so that the dryer can be installed next to the washer or stacked. With its compact size of 24", the unit can be installed in a small space.
  • Dry Smart - Humidity sensor measures moisture levels to adjust drying time automatically. Dries your clothes to your desired dry level, preventing over drying.
  • Reduce Wrinkles by Tumbling - Wrinkle Care provides approximately 90 minutes of intermittent tumbling in unheated air at the end of the cycle to reduce wrinkling. The load is already dry and can be removed anytime during the Wrinkle Care cycle.

  • Requires 220V Power, Not 110V
The Amazon product page says 240V. The electrical label on the unit says 110/220V (see photo). The dryer is ventless, so can be placed anywhere. Wanting this flexibility, I wired up a 110V cord. When I plugged this drier in and started a cycle, it turned the drum slightly and then displayed an 'E50' code. The manual has a list of error codes but doesn't mention this one. A Google search revealed that it's a Motor Error. Either the motor is blocked from turning, the motor has died, the motor controller board has failed, or the inverter that drives the motor has failed. I was able to turn the drum by hand, so it wasn't a stuck motor. The Solution: when I installed a 220V cord and plugged it into the 220V dryer outlet in my laundry room, the unit ran fine. I called the service number printed on the sticker and a nice American woman answered the call. She said that an email would be sent to me after we ended the call asking for proof of purchase and a photo of the serial number. She also said someone from a service company local to me would be calling about setting up an appointment. I got the email promptly after we ended the call and immediately sent in the requested information. I waited about an hour and called back in to make sure the information was received and a work order issued to the service company. The agent who answered my call told me that she didn't see a work order, so she issued one during the call. I'm glad I didn't just assume that everything was being done diligently. That was Friday afternoon. It's now 12pm Wednesday and no one has called to set up an appointment. I called Midea and discovered that the service company had scheduled an appointment without contacting me or confirming that I could be home. When I called the service company to get a specific time or time window, they told me that they will call after 3pm the day before the appointment. This is extremely short notice and is inadequate for many people to arrange to be home. Further, they set the appointment on Monday and didn't bother to let me know about it so I could make arrangements to be home. This is very negligent and inconsiderate. The manual is about 80% complete and missing aome important information in addition to the E50 error code. The layout is cluttered and filter cleaning is buried among less important information. There are three places that require regular cleaning, so this information should be very prominent, otherwise the dryer will take longer and longer to dry a load. P.S. Some have complained that the dryer doesn't come with a power cord. These units are designed to be sold internationally and different countries have different plug styles. Here in the U.S. we also have 120V and 240V plugs. The price would be about $200 higher if Midea tried to pre-install power cords and manage different model numbers and shipping to multiple countries. Asking the buyer to provide a power cord keeps the price down and is a result of internationalization. Nothing to complain about, really. ... show more

  • Efficient Drying, Compact Convenience
I recently purchased the Midea dryer, and I'm absolutely thrilled with its performance and compact design. It has been a game-changer for my laundry routine, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. First and foremost, the compact size of this dryer is perfect for my small laundry area. It complements my Midea washer beautifully and fits snugly into the available space without any hassle. Despite its smaller footprint, it delivers impressive functionality. The drying performance of this Midea dryer is outstanding. It efficiently dries my clothes, leaving them perfectly dry and ready to wear. The variety of drying modes and customizable settings make it easy to tailor the drying process to different fabric types and moisture levels. Whether it's a delicate blouse or a load of towels, this dryer handles it all with ease. Installation was a breeze, just like with the Midea washer. The clear instructions made it straightforward, and I had it set up and ready to use in no time. It's evident that Midea has put thought into ensuring a hassle-free experience for their customers. The control panel is user-friendly and intuitive, allowing me to select the right drying cycle and adjust settings as needed. The display provides clear information on cycle progress, keeping me informed throughout the drying process. Despite its compact size, this Midea dryer operates quietly, which is a pleasant surprise. I can use it without any disruptive noise, even during the evening when I need to get the laundry done. The build quality is sturdy and well-made, and I have confidence that it will serve me for years to come. ... show more

  • Never worked. Plugged in and got an error code
Contacted company due to the sensor error code (E33). They sent out a repair person from a local company they contracted. The repair person said that they weren’t familiar with this product and when they called the company support informed me they weren’t familiar with not helpful. The repair person gave up after 3 hours of unhelpful support from the company. The company did not refund my money and said that they would send me a check. I still haven’t received the check and had to pay Lowe’s to remove the item when I purchased another brand. Buyer be forewarned. ... show more

  • Great for a small space!
The washer works great and is pretty quiet. It only does small loads though, so if you need a large load machine this will not be for you. It fits in small spaces and through small doors and is stackable with the dryer. I would not have bought these if I had space for a larger machine, but it has been a pleasant surprise. Lots of settings, gets the clothes clean, and is efficient. ... show more

  • Very poor quality and deceiving description
The dryer didn't work coming out of the box, warranty process requires multiple phone calls with multiple individuals who don't seem to be on the same page. You have to e-mail the amazon receipt and take a picture of the serial number and e-mail it as well. It took over 6 weeks to finally get an appliance repair person out to inspect it. Replaced 2 motors and the board., however the unit is still not functioning. They finally concluded that the dryer requires a 220V dedicated connection which cannot be shared with any other appliance. The warranty process took so long that the return window is now closed and I am stuck with an appliance that has been repaired 3 times and still doesn't work. I would strongly advise to steer clear and not buy. ... show more
