Features

  • FRAME HEIGHT - Men's reading glasses with spring hinges, Frame height about 1.46 inches (37mm).
  • SOLID AND CHUNKY - Eyekepper reading glasses are comfortable to wear. What you'll love is that they have a much sturdier feel. You can confidently open and close them without thinking that such a simple motion will break them.
  • SPRING HINGES AND CLEAR LENSES - The frames and hinges are stiff enough that they fit well and don't seem floppy. The lenses are clear and sharp, with not blurry of out of focus areas.
  • 5 PACK READERS FOR MEN - Very cool classic look. The 5 pack means you can scatter them around (home, car, office, etc.) so you never have one of those "can't find the glasses" moments.
  • NO RISK TO TRY - In case any broken problem happens, please do not hesitate to contact Eyekepper customer service to solve the problem until you are satisfied.

  • UPDATE:. Super clear Lense, sturdy, good looking.
Color: 5 Pairs Mix Magnification Strength: 2.0 x
I have two pair of expensive readers ($100 each) and while these do not have the name recognition, these are actually as good or better. The lenses are clearer, the fit is better, and they are more comfortable. I know they are a price point item but believe me they are an outstanding value for a 5 pack. You cannot go wrong with these, just buy them and distribute a pair where you sit in your home or vehicle. They come with 5 pair of readers and each one has its own soft silky bag with a pull string closure. no brainer 5 stars 3/8/24 Update: i like these glasses so much i reordered again. one pair did break after dropping on tile floor but regardless these are great to read with , are inexpensive and look good. i spread them around so they are always at hand. they are a good deal. ... show more

  • High quality at a great price
Color: 5 Pairs Mix Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
I was really impressed with these glasses! I figured for the price they would be good throw around back ups to keep around the house but they are great! Solid feel with spring hinged lenses and a handy satin sleeve case that is great for cleaning them comes with each pair. Great product.

  • Great readers that with reasonable care and a few caveats, will serve you well
Color: 5 Pairs Mix Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
Great set of glasses with some small shortcomings. First on the plus side, you get 5 pairs at a pretty amazing price. Good clarity, no obvious distortion in the lenses, just good reading glasses that work. The temple pieces attach to the frame with a spring at each side that hyperextend a little as needed beyond 90 degrees, so it is a comfortable fit. Springs cause them to stay put once closed or folded. Nothing about them feels cheap, lightweight or poorly made in normal use. Here are the downsides. I bought these 9 months ago and wear them daily, so I have a lot of experience with them. 3 of the 5 pairs snapped on the frame just above the lens about a 1/2 inch up from the nose bridge area. Same spot, 3 pairs. Obviously this is a weak area in the design. I do not abuse them, sit on them, stuff them in my pocket etc. They just broke in that same spot. I used epoxy to glue them back together and relegated those pairs to home use only. Next issue, also on 3 pairs, the screw that attaches the temple piece to the frame popped out. Not sure if the threads stripped or it if came unscrewed in normal use. No big deal, right? Buy a repair kit at the $.99 store and put a new screw in there. Well, due to the springs you can not. The spring is always at tension, you need some way to pull the spring out to get the screw through it and it is not possible with any method that I could come up with, and believe me, I tried. Surely, they have a jig or a machine at the factory to assemble them. Caveat emptor, buy a micro screwdriver and check the tightness of those screws when you receive them and periodically thereafter. Maybe a drop of crazy glue or epoxy on the underside of the screw to keep it in place. Finally, the plastic used to make the lenses is optically clear, but scratches easily. You have to use a lot of caution to ensure that you don't set them down with the lens against the table or you will get round scratches right in the middle of the lens, right where you look through, rendering them useless. Having said all of that, 4 of the 5 pairs have hit the trash after 9 months- the only pair I still have is the shaded sunglass pair, because I rarely use them and they live on a shelf. The reason I'm back here updating my review, is that I'm going to buy 5 more pairs. Even though I got less than a year's use out of them (2 1/2 month average per pair), I still like them and will use what I learned with the first set to hopefully get more life out of the second. Hopefully my experience will help you in that regard as well. ... show more

  • Bargain specs are OK for most things
Color: 5 Pairs Mix Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
There are numerous times I need a spare pair for reading something in fine print. That's when it's handy to have several pairs around the house. So when I found these at $2 bucks a pair, I got them. They are cheaply made, as you would expect. What most people do not know is, MOST glasses, even prescription glasses, are made to essentially the same standards. If that makes you wonder why prescription glasses costs so much or if you've been getting ripped off all these years, it should... because they shouldn't cost so much and you HAVE been ripped off. One place where I notice the cheap quality of these is the softness of the plastic lenses. They're fine when you first use them, but after only a few cleanings the lenses get minute scratches and get cloudy. Most of the time that does not bother me because I use them intermittently and only for short periods. So, based on that experience, I would say these are a great bargain for anyone who needs a little help with fine print and doesn't like to carry glasses around the house with them all the time. With careful cleaning, you can extend their useful life. Keep a pair by anyplace you read. If you want a fine pair of clear lenses that last for years, you will need to pay more. But don't pay TOO much more. Remember there is not that much difference in quality between super cheap lenses like these and better plastic lenses you get from optometrists that charge a 200% to 1000 % markup. Each "brand" is slightly different, but imported specs are more similar than dissimilar. In my experience, you pay extra for anything with a designer brand-name, but do not get significantly more quality. Just as printer ink is a huge rip-off, spectacles are too. I have paid $600 dollars for a prescription that did not work as well as these cheap Chinese generics at $2 bucks @. These don't last as long as the good ones, but at this price, I can get fifty pairs and still be ahead of that prescription markup game. Obviously, this advice would not apply to people with certain vision problems that require prescriptions... so please take this advice with some caution. There is no substitute for a real doctor's advice. But if you are like me and only need a little magnification for small print, these work very well and save a ton of money. ... show more
