I purchased a 2018 MacBook with 16GB memory and 1TB storage. I’m a student studying graphic design in my senior year. I needed a new laptop with more memory and storage for my Adobe programs. This was perfect, I’m now in the middle of semester and I’ve been able to render all my videos and run multiple programs all at once with no issue. Runs and works like a brand new MacBook (and it beats buying a brand new MacBook) When I purchased the laptop the charger it came with was not working and I contacted the company and they promptly reimbursed me so I could buy a new one. The machine overall looked good and with the price and the specs I was very hopeful I had found the machine for me for the next decade. Unfortunately, there is an electrical glitch in it where the touch bar disappears and the computer will suddenly shut down or restart itself. I’ve had my MacBook for some time now and the only issue i have is nothing. Which you might wonder why i put it at 4 stars. Reason being that when my refurbished MacBook came in, i took a look at the specs. I was in shock; the MacBook I had ordered with specific specs had not come in, but a incorrect version did. I obviously took steps to claim back the original MacBook but decided to stick with the false one. It’s been great, if you aren’t in need of the higher specs like I am, a lower spec version would do you good. But be aware that they might send you the wrong one. ... show more

Looks new works great I only had one problem the aftermarket charger that came with it was dead on arrival so I had to replace it with a new one but other than that I really like it

    • The trackpad is unreliable.
The trackpad is unreliable. The cursor keeps either pausing or jumping to a different section of the screen. I predominantly use the trackpad rather than a mouse. Even for a refurbished machine, this is below expectations. The Touch Bar: halfway through increasing or reducing the volume, the volume bar disappears and is replaced with a different icon.
