I so prefer using this to a regular flower press, which takes FOREVER. At least with this device you can have dried flowers in a couple minutes! Which is great for my kids to use for homeschooling and adding plants to their nature junk journals. There is however a strong smell to the pads when you’re drying the plants, but it does go away. That’s the only downside. Otherwise I think this is the best device for a naturalist!

In a matter of minutes, the garden flowers were pressed and colorful. I couldn't believe how beautifully preserved the calla lily turned out. This is a fairly thick flower and the parts dried quickly. I am excited to continue to see what flowers I can press from my garden.

Get this!!! You won't regret it🤩 It takes multiple times to get the flowers perfect but once you do they come out beautiful. Worth the price and came with a coupon. My only issue is it does have a weird smell but I will try and wash it to see if that helps. 5 star review nonetheless!!! ✨✨✨✨✨

This is a really awesome gadget that makes pressing flowers quick and easy! It comes with instructions on how to use it that are easy to follow, and it's big enough to press quite a few flowers at a time. If you're trying to dry really thick or large flowers, it will take longer than the 1-2 minutes in the instructions. (I would give it a little time in between trips to the microwave so it doesn't overheat the plastic.) I only have a few complaints about this kit: the first is that the wool pads smell TERRIBLE when they're heated in the microwave. It really took me by surprise the first time I used it. However, it works really well and the smell dissipates pretty quickly. I'll definitely take the odor over having to wait a month for flowers to dry naturally. But be aware you'll probably have to air out your microwave for a bit after using it! I also recommend using parchment paper inside and not only relying on the cotton lining, because I used it to press some purple flowers and stained the fabric almost immediately. I was worried the color would bleed into the next batch of flowers I tried to press, and didn't appreciate having to wash the cotton lining after the first use and hope it didn't stain permanently. I used an additional layer of parchment paper to line future batches of flowers and nothing bled through. All that being said, I'm really happy with the results. It worked great for some pretty bit/thick flowers that I wasn't sure how to press naturally. I also found that the colors were much more vibrant than flowers I've pressed using the traditional method, which is reason enough to use this approach as far as I'm concerned. Overall I'm very happy with this item, I just wish I'd known a little better what to expect before using it.

This is NOT a Microfleur! This is a cheaper quality copycat. Without looking closely at the details, you can buy this by mistake. The pictures are small so you can’t tell that the press does not say Microfleur on it. It looks identical to the real Microfleur otherwise. They even use Max in the title which misleads even more than the picture. I have a Microfleur Max microwave flower press and then bought this one. This one is not the same quality at all and isn’t worth the price. Next time, I’m buying direct from Microfleur so I know I’m getting something authentic and quality.

First off this is my first experience ever drying flowers. I had no idea what to expect really. The most notable thing that caught me off guard was the smell. It clears a room 😅 granted I have only done sunflowers - so maybe others, smaller ones, don’t smell so bad. It takes a while to get the smell out of the microwave tho. Besides that - it works wonderfully! I was super impressed that I was able to use it on such big flowers like sunflowers. I thought surely I wouldn’t be able to close it after placing three sunflowers on the tray but I had no issue with it! The sunflowers did stain the cloths though. I lightly sprayed the cloth with water before microwaving like the instructions said and set in the microwave for 1.5-2 min. The sunflower petals were very fragile afterwards so handle delicately to not break any off.
