TL;DR review: Recommended. Great mouse. Would be five starts if it had a back-button. I've gone through a few mice from various manufacturers, including a few from Microsoft, and unlike many, this little mouse works seamlessly. It has a pleasing and unique molted white color, with tiny dark threads and dots throughout, giving it almost a rough marble appearance. Could the dark spots be a result of the 20% recycled ocean plastic? They certainly don't detract from the look and I feel that if anything, they enhance the look. When I travel or am using my laptop around the house, I can use the touchpad for brief interactions, but if I'm going to spend any significant amount of time, I like using a mouse instead. I learned Windows using a mouse and after many years of using one at home and in the office, I'm more dexterous with one. I have both a Windows Surface Pro and a few Chromebooks and I wanted a mouse which I could toss in a bag, easily switch between laptops, and leave laying around whenever I needed one. I also didn't want to spend a lot on what I look at as an accessory. I was using a cheap wired Dell mouse with my laptops and kept a cheap HP wired mouse at work, but having to plug and unplug the wired mice each time was doable, but - I donno - inelegant? So I needed a wireless mouse and when I saw The Ocean Mouse at the a Microsoft Center, I was impressed by the portability, it's build, and it's origin story (even the packaging is all paper!). I thought it was going to sell for $50 and was pleasantly surprised to see it for around $20. Cheap enough that were I to lose it, I wouldn't kick myself. But would I like it? It's small... Let's compare it to my Logitech G502: Logitech: 132mm(L), 69mm(W), 40mm (H) actually Microsoft: 100mm(L), 58mm(W), 38mm (H) Note the Logitech lists as 75mm wide, but that takes into account the thumb-rest. So the Ocean Mouse is 32mm shorter, 11mm less in width, and loses 2mm in height. My glove size runs from L to XL, so does having a smaller mouse make a difference? Not really. If I'm gaming, it might, but then again when I game I use my wired Logitech or my wired Razor and not a Bluetooth. The responsiveness if perfect and it easily paired with my Windows machine and all of my Chromebooks. The click-wheel has a nice feel, though once again when compared to the one on a gaming mouse, it's like a comparing a the wheel of a Hummer to a Honda - it's smaller and narrower so it's not as comfortable as a wheel on a full size mouse. Click and scroll-wise it's fine, and were I not comparing mice, I might not have noticed. Would I recommend it or give it as a gift? Definitely. This is a nice mouse which you can use when you travel, as an everyday mouse, as a mouse you can toss in your bag, or as a gift to your college-bound kid. It's exactly what I wanted. So what's missing? Why the 4 star review instead of 5? As I write this review, it's 2022 - most mice come with a back-button. This one doesn't. A minor thing, but something that many of us are used to using when we're browsing the web. I would easily pay an extra $5 for a version with a back button (and maybe make the wheel a little wider, please?)

This mouse was bought to work with a compact keyboard from another manufacturer. Neither device lives up to the promise of good connectivity up to ten (10) meters). The mouse works better than the keyboard but doesn't track well. I'm unsure which of the devices is responsible for the blinking and eventual loss of my Windows 11 screen (at that point I'm watching a white pixelated screen). I have other devices I can use this mouse with so I'll be keeping it. I wish sellers would stop overpromising in their listing, though! It appears that most Bluetooth devices at this price point may be inadequate at ten (10) meters. I had already tried the Logitech MK270 Wireless Keyboard And Mouse Combo and was told by the Logitech Customer Rep that electrical interference might explain the problem. I turned off other electrical devices in the room and tried some more. No success, so my purchase was returned for refund. Incidentally, my computer and display are both new.

I got this for use with my 2019 iMac after my cat took a liking to the "tail" of my wired mouse. This one he will occasionally toss to the floor, but no harm yet. This mouse fits my hand well and tracks perfectly. It runs on a standard AA cell, so no need to recharge with all my other things that need daily charging. The scroll wheel is slightly rough for my preference, but not enough to ding it a star.

I bought this mouse to use with my Steam Deck for slower-paced tactical games. Works really well and I was able to pair it to the Deck effortlessly. The mouse is responsive and the scroll wheel gives nice tactile feedback. It's very small and easily portable which works well for gaming on the go. Can't really recommend it for faster-paced titles and FPS as it is very small, but for turn-based games like Civilization 6 it works flawlessly. My only real gripe with the mouse is I would have liked 1 or 2 side buttons for gaming and web-browsing, but all in all I would recommend this mouse for anyone on the go.

Personally I feel this mouse is quite comfortable and easy to use, nothing difficult to operate. The design is quite normal but I feel it is a bit rounder than the usual mouse. But in my opinion this is too chunky to be used to play games that require agility. Overall I am satisfied with the item.

I've been using this as a work mouse for the last couple of weeks. It is perfectly adequate and is exactly what you expect it to be. Clicks a little loud and I wish it could be slightly by bigger but these are nitpicks. It's not gonna revolutionize your point and click experience but it's solid and works without issue.

I've had this mouse for almost exactly a year and it's been fantastic. I have small hands & it fits my hand perfectly. I've never needed to change the battery, although I did a week ago anyways because I'm having an issue that I was hoping the battery replacement would fix, and it didn't. The scroll wheel has become messed up and either doesn't scroll, or goes the wrong direction, or starts to go up when I go down & switches on me randomly. Can't seem to figure out why, and after reading reviews I see I'm not the only one this is happening to. Disappointed, but for the price I guess you get what you pay for.
