  • Amazing Mircoscope!!!!
Style: MicroscopeA
The media could not be loaded. This micro scope is an awesome addition to our homeschool family! The ability to record what we see is remarkable and to see my kids dive into the microscope is rewarding. This is definitely worth the buy.

  • Is your child a budding scientist ?
Style: MicroscopeA
For young people with inquisitive science minds this is the perfect gift. I purchased this item along with a set of prepared slides to view under microscope that consists of all kinds of microorganisms and bug parts and neat kinds of icky stuff. Bring out the Einstein in your child. I highly recommend this microscope. ... show more

  • For price, a good value
Style: MicroscopeA
Overall, this microscope (we bought the A option) is a good value based on the price. It feels like a quality product, not just cheap plastic. The lenses provided are clear and provide surprisingly good magnification. The instructions are horrible, though. They don't really explain how to setup or use the microscope, or clearly identify each piece and how it works (or when to use it). Still, it's easy to figure out after some trial and error. I do want to specifically flag something that made me thought hours was broken. Out of the box the LED light for our unit was out of battery. When we went to plug it in the light turned on. The instructions make clear in several places that when the unit is charging you are not supposed to use the light. There is a little wheel on the light to turn it off and make it dimmer or brighter. No matter what I did the light stayed on. I assumed ours was broken. When we came back later the light was off. And I realized that when you plug in the unit to charge it, the light turns (but dim) and then turns off to let you know it is charged. Again, this is something that would have been very helpful in the instructions considering how many times the instructions emphasize not to use the light when it is charging. I am attaching photos showing the light in low power mode when charging versus when the unit is charged and you actually turn the light on. We bought a separate lot of prepared slides and my son is really enjoying the microscope. ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised

What a great little scope! It feels nicely built and comes with a bunch of stuff, including some slides of things to get you going. I love it. I'm not a scientist by any means but will enjoy looking closely at bugs and coins...

  • Igual que un profesional
Style: MicroscopeA
My son had a microscope before this one, but this one works a lot better. You can see quite a bit with it, especially when you add the phone on top of the microscope. Its a good STEM item for kids. I found it really interesting to look at myself. I'm used to microscopes from my University, and I still really like this one. Its a good microscope to have at home. I think its good for kids to learn how to use microscopes in general. ... show more
