I was really nervous to make this purchase because I was comparing it to so many others, but this was the absolute best one I could have chosen. It Is the perfect size for my family of four and gave me exactly the amount of pots needed for the amount of greens I wanted to plant. Rooting happened in only 24-48 hours. Since sprouts take a few days to a week to grow, these are great for staggering small batches for birds or cats so that there is no waste and always a steady supply. They are easy to use, clean, and small enough to store easily.

The nicest quality and the cutest little set up ever. I am using mine to grow a rotation of wheat grass for my cats that absolutely love it and beg for it every day. I also grow the micro greens as a single use for two of us in each of these containers. Making it very easy to portion. The dome is a great height and perfect quality for this application. It is really easy to grow and faster. I am growing cat grass. It's been only a few day, but roots looks clean and healthy and grass is almost 2inch long. I had used many other planters with soil and I always got mold issue. So far it looks clean. But I will keep monitoring.

these are fantastic, much better than using jars.... drainage is easy and seeds germinate beautifully. Very easy to pull out sprouts I just put them in a salad spinner a few times to remove the seeds and then in a mason jar and they come out beautiful.. definitely recommend!

I’m very pleased with these trays. I’m fairly new to growing microgreens, but these sturdy trays made it easy to grow wheatgrass in my kitchen window for my cat (which she totally ignored). I used about a tablespoon or so of soaked seeds in each tray, but I could have used more so the sprouts were thicker. I was afraid of overdoing it since some seem to have had a problem with mold. As it was, I didn’t have any trouble at all, which makes me wonder if some of the “mold” people are seeing is actually just the root “fuzz” that is to perfectly normal and to be expected, not actually mold at all. The seed trays held the seeds and let the water and roots through, and I like that the trays come with lids that have adjustable air vents on top to help ensure good ventilation. If I were to buy them again, I would probably buy the clear bottoms so I could see the roots and water level more easily, but I’m happy with the ones I have and look forward to growing other kinds of microgreens for myself.
