I was a bit hesitant to order this, but it was probably one of the best purchases so far. Just after using it a couple of times, I can already tell a difference. It also has helped me with tension headaches. I used to have them every day, but since I started to use this device they're gone. My skin looks so much better too. This microcurrent facial skincare device from FyneLook is a little like having a spa at home. The device combines microcurrent lifting and red/blue light therapy. I was mostly interested in the redlight therapy at first, however after using it I found the microcurrent feature was interesting, it felt like tiny jolts that mimicked the smallest of mini massages all over. You need to use the included conductive gel for the best results, I tried to use it without the gel and it definitely makes a difference. The packaging it comes in is very nice, the unboxing makes the device feel like a premium product and worth the purchase price. The instructions are clear and precise, and I appreciated the quick start summary sheet that summarizes everything for quick reference. I have noticed some difference in my skin after using this device for a few weeks now and hope to see even more as I get used to how it works a little better. One thing that somewhat irked me was the product listing image of firming up so much sagging arm skin. This device seems like it can definitely help to make things firmer but that is such an obvious exaggeration that it takes away from the credibility of the device.

One of the things that I enjoy to do is fidget with myself, anything that I can do to make me feel better, look better, more put together, brighter face, or evening out is something that I enjoy doing. That being stated, this is something that is a newer thing for me to use, and it is still something that I have been getting used to. I like the light therapy and the gel that it comes with, though for me, it doesn't feel that grand when using this device with the gel, but that could just be me, and I like the ergonomical handle and the movement of the head. Seems easy enough to use, and if you don't want to set a timer, there are so many other ways to get a timer going including smartphones and smartwatches or even an old-fashioned egg timer. Either way, timers aren't that big of a deal, and this is something that I'm sure I will get better at using with each use, and also a little younger looking.

While I do not have the credentials to state with authority how the microcurrent and light therapy actually impacts your skin and health, I can share how I feel using it. I have super sensitive skin which has not been irritated by using this device and the gel that comes with it. Most importantly I appreciate that this device has a chargeable battery and lets me use it cordless. It is a hefty device for hand held but I am ok with this because it feels well made and not on the cheap side. The device comes with a fully developed user manual as well as a laminated abbreviated user manual. I really appreciate both of them because when I read something the first time it makes complete sense. Then sometimes I forget when I go back to use it again. Both manuals fit in the black velvet bag to hold the device. I appreciate that the manual has very technical information available. For example, this includes on page 9, specific information about the microcurrent stimulation as well as the LED wavelength and irradiance. I know a lot of people have passed on buying units like this because that information is not available. The device has individual modes for face, neck and body which you pair with one of three intensity levels. According to research microcurrent technology will help improve sagging and puffiness as well as improve firmness. I don't have a lot of wrinkles, but have found that the device helps me completely relax and my skin feels healthier after a face session. The head of the device is bigger than others I have used and has 11 contact points. In reading the product literature this is to maximize the surface contact of the device with your skin. The unit is accompanied by a bottle of Fynelook's conductive gel which further improves the delivery of the microcurrents. Please note I use this scale for my reviews: 5 Star - Exceeded my expectations, highly recommend, would purchase again 4 Star - Met my expectations, very good product, probably would purchase again 3 Star - Good item with comments as to why it did not meet my expectations. Based on your preferences and needs it may be a 2 or 4 Star item. 2 Star - I would not recommend this product with comments as to why. 1 Star - Poor Product, more than not recommending, am stating you should not purchase it due to the reasons in my notes.

The pros of this facial device is that it is definitely easy to hold and ergonomic. I have another light therapy device that is just plain awkward to hold. The cons are that it needs an audible timer. I’ve been using the red light therapy for wrinkles. The problem is that I’m sitting there holding it but I don’t know when the time is up unless I set a timer. Otherwise, I you keep checking it too see if the red lights are still on while I’m guessing if it’s been three minutes. It also needs better directions. I realized for wrinkle treatment that you don’t need the conducive gel. However, what I don’t know is whether or not you’re supposed to just hold the device in one place or move it around. I was originally moving it around which I think was wrong so it delayed seeing any improvement. After a couple of weeks of that, I switched to just holding it in one place, over the wrinkle/smile lines next to my mouth. It may be me but I think I’m seeing a slight improvement on the left side after about a month of keeping it in one spot.

I’ve tried a few facial microcurrent devices, and I really like this one because it has a larger diameter head, which makes it easy to cover more area at once. I mainly use it along my jawline and neck. I’m in my early 40s and starting to notice a little bit of sagging and early jowls, as well as some looseness in my neck, so I’ve been trying to be more proactive about it. I’m also currently losing a bit of weight, so I want to make sure I’m supporting my skin as much as possible during that process. This device has a few different settings including red light, blue light, and microcurrent. I already have a red light mask, so I mostly use it for the microcurrent function. So far, I’ve noticed a bit of firming along my jawline, which I really like. It’s a little large for my hands, but it does what it’s supposed to do and you can definitely feel it working, which gives me confidence that it’s effective. Overall, it’s a really nice device that I’m happy to keep using.
