Purchased this for my girlfriend. Inspection reveals both leather and synthetic materials. Excellent stitching. Retains its shape well and provides ample room for the necessary items. No regrets.

Loved this purchase. I almost didn't get it bc some of the bad reviews had me nervous. I wanted my review to clarify and counteract some of the low star ratings. 1st-the description is misleading. It is not a large tote. It is a handbag. It is a good size, but I think it's a stretch to call it a tote. I've seen the style before in the store, so I knew what to expect. If you order without knowing, I can see why that would be a disappointment. 2nd-its the real thing as far as I can tell. Some reviews claimed their bags were copies bc of lack of leather, etc. I dont remember the description mentioning leather. No MK bag with MK printed all over it will be leather. Any leather bag I've seen from them is a solid color. It is the same high quality I've purchased at the MK outlet. 3rd-Some said their bag seemed used. I can only speak for what I received, but it was packed nicely with thin foam wrapped around the handles, MK logo, and zipper pulls. There was paper and such inside to help the purse keep its shape. The MK price tag was still attached. A great purchase. I looooove the color. I would definitely buy a different color if one struck my fancy

This is the perfect purse for winter as its' large opening and insides will hold gloves, scarf and any extras you need. It doesn't however feel like leather as it's rather stiff and hard, but that may also mean that it will sustain the harsh weather of East Coast winters and keep its' shape and color. The only major issue I have with this lovely and joyous purse is that the zipper does stick toward the end of its row. I've even taken the bag to our local shoe cobbler to try to fix it but he said the design was poor and that it really could not be fixed. I suggested stapling it just before it gets stuck but he said no and instead to try to just not go that far. Impossible I said! When I'm busy I cannot have a bag needing more attention! He laughed and didn't charge me for the visit! I am resolved to keep the bag, annoyed that the Michael Kors company isn't aware of this issue and needs to be. We all deserve a free Michael Kors wallet for the hassle we will continue to have as we live with our great and lovely purses!
