I find that this product is at a good price but the bottom is too light weight for the height. Once you get high and extend the boom it becomes very unstable. Updated After speaking with seller about this item and reviewing the user information. I’m happy with my purchase. Great customer service and communication with seller. You could pay more or get this one and use it as instructed.

The media could not be loaded. Low-cost was clearly the primary design criterion for this one... And the main way that goal was realized was by utilizing cheap, flexible plastic for all of the hinges, swivels, clamps, pivots, etcetera.... This stand would be awesome and exactly what I needed if it weren't for the soft, wobbly plastic parts! They look fine in the images, but when my stand is assembled and has the weight of an actual microphone on it - okay TWO fairly small Rode M5 mics on a stereo separator bar - the whole thing lists to one side! Too bad... If anyone knows of a similar stand with similar dimensions and fixtures, but that is constructed from "big boy" materials, I'd love to know about it... Update, 17 August, 2023: The seller reached out to me to resolve my concerns. To their credit, they offered to replace or refund the stand. They also provided me with “tech support”, advising me that the stand can be set up in ways that are unstable - even including a diagram illustrating that extending the boom over one of the legs would provide more stability. Unfortunately, that is NOT at all the problem. The materials chosen for construction are extremely flexible, and not designed in a way that would prevent extreme, undesired flexing, in the video you can see the bendiness of the part. So, replacement won’t resolve my issue; the thing only costs about $30 bucks US, so a refund won’t do much… I finally did the sensible thing and purchased a professional mic stand with boom from K&M, for an additional $100 bucks more than this stand costs. The K&M works great.
