This is the coolest fan and does exactly what it's supposed to do... with no power. We got it for our hunting blind. We use it with a small buddy heater (on Low heat) and it moves just enough air to circulate heat through the blind and keep it warm and it's completely quiet, no sound at all. You can barely hear the air moving and that's a big deal in the blind so you can hear your surroundings. I was only looking for a thermometer but seen this combo and figured hell I’ll try it. Wood stove was cold when I placed them on and shortly after I got a fire started the fan started spinning slowly and then out of nowhere she was winding. Right around 400° you could really feel the air off her. She started making a a little clicking noise around 600° but she was still pushing air. I’ve had the stove as hot as 720° and it spins as it should. Crack a beer or 8 and I could sit and watch her spin all night. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The fact that I don't have to turn on the electric fan included with stove insert is a plus. This little fan runs smoothly and you can't hear a thing. The size will fool you as this little fan can distribute heat better than the insert fan and the best part of all is that it runs on heat. No power needed. ... show more

This fan works better than advertised. It blows out the heat all night long with no problems. You can definitely feel the heat being pushed from the back of the stove into the room. And bonus points- it doesn’t make a sound!
