Love the consistency of these builder gels. They level out nice but quick. Frosted pink is my favorite!! You can put it on in thin layers to build up slowly or thick layers if more advanced (BEWARE: curing can get hot on nail for 5-8 seconds if doing a thick layer). Suggest having a strong UV light to cure so it doesn’t settle and misshape.

I love this. It has made my at home nail routine so much faster and low maintenance. My nails stay looking shiny for weeks. I usually do my nails long and I do experience cracks on the sides of my nails, BUT they don’t snap. I’m very rough on my nails and w other nail techniques like dip and acrylic, I typically snap nails regularly (I have two kids one of which is an active baby). This method is more bendy so they may crack, but don’t break. Overall I love how easy this product is to use. The fact that it comes with a brush in a polish-type bottle means you don’t have to buy additional tools and it’s easier to grab the right amount of product. I have it in several colors and highly recommend. This review is for the frosted pink.

I really liked this gel - it kind of felt more like a builder gel as it was pretty thick. I started by just brushing a thin layer on the nail, cured it and then “built” a thicker layer over it and I did have to do some clean up around the edges but overall it was pretty easy! I used it to build kind of an overlay over my natural nails, but I think I could also use it over some tips and it seems like I could use it in place of acrylic- we will see! This does cure WITH a sticky layer. I also painted a coat of a very similar colored light pink gel polish over them, so this isn’t exactly the color that this product ended up being, but it’s very similar, and I feel like I could have just applied a top coat over this alone, and it would still be very pretty. Recommend!

I think this builder gel is pretty easy to use, but is quite runny, so I often found myself flash setting one nail at a time. Be careful to not flood your cuticles when applying it! It will cause lifting. The product levels pretty nicely, and I found it easiest to just use the applicator in the bottle for the entire set. Tip: since it is so runny, if you’re struggling to make the product level or build an apex, flip your hand over for a few seconds before setting it in the lamp. Overall, a nice product! Also, the “frosted pink” is definitely more of a pale, milky pink color, almost white, for those curious.

Okay! In the photo, I have a set of extensions built with only this structure gel (in frosted pink). I used paper/sticker forms for this because I just wanted to evaluate the strength of the product on its own. You can tell a few things from the photo about opacity, but here is a succinct list of the details that you can’t see! Pros: -Adds strength to a gel manicure if 1-2 coats are used under gel polish -Is easy to manipulate when building out extensions -Is self-leveling without pooling/running everywhere before you’re ready to cure -Heat spikes are controllable and the product cures fully, even when applied in a thick manner to build structure -Color provides neutral/natural-looking coverage on its own after a few coats or after building apex/structure. Love the frosty vibe! -Responds well to being filed and isn’t too soft for some major shaping/structuring with a hand file (haven’t tried an e-file on it). Cons: -For some reason, this product lifts more easily than other structure gels I’ve had. I’ve tried it with and without acid-free primer and my prep products are solid for all of my other structure gels. Somehow this one lifts more quickly - manicure or extensions basically last a week before lifting. Unfortunate. But you may have better luck! -You have to use the right topcoat/products on top of it. Gelish tends to work well with most brands so I’ve seen this structure gel respond well to gelish products. However, once I used a different topcoat from the YoungNails brand and the resultant cracking was absolutely ridiculous. After a day, my nails looked like shattered glass. So weird! You might have to do some trial & error to see which products marry up well to it. Overall, I don’t use this product much anymore unless someone specifically asks for it or unless they have weak nails and just need some thin coats under their gel polish for strength. I expected more from it for sure but oh well! Maybe it’s user error on my part! I just hate the possibility of lifting and I will probably just stick to my products that reliably stay put for longer than 1 week😬.
