The bike itself is pretty much as expected. It balances well on its own, but yet isn’t as sturdy as a tricycle. It think it’s a great option in the world of balance bikes for very young kids, as it provides more stability than a true balance bike, but also doesn’t require one to have the ability to pedal either. So great for very young toddlers (those coordinated enough to walk and hold onto something for support, but not yet ready to have to always balance the bike). We haven’t yet put a kid on the bike, so we will see how everything works in reality later! The handles have silicone/rubber/something on them, which makes them nice for easy gripping. The wheels all light up (though obviously not nearly as much as the pictures imply), I doubt the kid riding the bike will be able to see the lights at the same time, unless it’s dark. It also requires a bit of movement to get the lights to turn on, so a very slow pace won’t activate them. This bike arrived compact, which was nice to not have a giant box at my door. Assembly was very easy and intuitive (I was done in five minutes). There was a one page assembly directions, they were fairly basic, but again, they weren’t really needed. The only tool needed was a small socket wrench and they included it with the bike, so I didn’t even have to get my tools. The instructions also stated the weight limit is 20kg, which I did not see in the product description, and I think that’s important to know before buying! All in all, a nice little introductory semi-balance bike!

What I like: Overall, the little push-bike is really quite cool. Assembly was truly a no-brainer and I feel good about the build quality. The product pushes to and fro with ease. My 9.5 month old grandson is just now starting to get the concept and coordination. What I don't like: I feel it could be close to perfect, as-is, but perhaps it'd be totally perfected if the engineers could work with the framing, giving it a lower center of gravity for even greater stability. I'd likely order this item again, unless I were to find a comparable product with superior balance.

This is just as little as it says it is it's just like a miniature version of a grown up bike. It was really easy to put together, all the parts were there and so were the directions. My g- babies have only been walking about a month, they are 12 months, and don't really want to ride it yet, but like to stand and play with the different parts, sometimes they sit on it for a minute but climb off. This will change probably in another month or two, then they will be all over the house with it. This is a really cute looking, a n d very sturdy, well built little push bike. This is definitely made for a toddler, i would say more like 18+ months, my older gd who is 4 and 40 pounds, sat and scooted on it, it didnt flex under her weight at all, but her legs were absolutely too long, shes 42 inches tall, so I agree the age range is probably best 18mo-3yrs. I'm sure they will be enjoying the ride soon!

Was a perfect size for my great niece (16 mos) She's just pushing along right now but I've used these before and this is such a great no pressure way to learn to balance and ride! I recommend this!

Very easy to assemble with no extra tools required. I went from opening the box to having it completed in under 5 minutes without looking at any kind of instructions. Feels sturdy enough for a small kid, the wheels are round and roll well, and the center of the wheels light up with very little movement.
