  • Very good quality Very good quality

First of all, shame on anyone who leaves a bad product review for an item because they couldn't learn how to use it. The review should be a reflection on the quality of the product, not your lack of athletic ability! I'm an old roller blader from back in the day. Never learned how to skateboard but for some reason, I was drawn to these things. I've spent about 8 hours teaching myself how to use them, and as you can see in my photo, they are holding up nicely. Just a few dings and scrapes here and there. Great learner set. Maybe even a good long term set, we'll see. ... show more

  • Easy and quick to get into!
Color: Single Pattern
So the product is pretty cheap and accessible to use for its price. The grip tape is bad when I got it, so I just got new grip tape and it worked wonderfully. The wheels wore out pretty fast too but I recommend if you plan to keep these, you should get cruiser skateboard wheels. It’ll feel ten times better. But if your looking for something more durable and just better quality I highly recommend just to get JMK free skates. ... show more

  • Fun thing to learn!
Color: Single Pattern
I saw these online and thought "I have to buy these" and let me tell you, they don't disappoint! They are quite difficult to learn at first, but after a few hours I was able to go a little ways with them. They are very unique and use a lot of muscles that other things similar don't use. Overall, I think these are a lot of fun if you're into skateboards, roller blades, rip sticks, or give a unique gift to a kid who loves balancing. ... show more

  • Quality skates
Color: Single Pattern
These things roll faster than they look. I know how to skate and fooled myself into thinking this will be easy. Maybe for someone 1/2-1/3 my age but I haven’t broken a hip yet.

  • Wrong Deck Labels Wrong Deck Labels
Color: Single Pattern
Received a set with incorrect right/left labels. Angle of the wheels is swapped, with the right labeled deck set up for the left foot and vice versa. Poor QC. I've included a photo to show how when the skates are placed in the proper position (angled outward when wheels aligned) the right skate is on the left for the rider. It also doesn't match the photo which clearly shows the correct wheel angle on the right-labeled deck. Otherwise decent build quality, no idea about longevity yet. ... show more

  • Definitely not for beginners...but a lot of fun!
Color: Single Pattern
You can't think of these as simply being like roller skates, because they definitely are not! Tricky to learn on...especially turning...but some helpful videos gave us some good ideas for getting started. Our 14 year old is good with a skateboard and with RipSticks, but these are much trickier to learn on...but he loves them! Seems very sturdy so far with no mechanical issues at all. ... show more

  • Small details
Color: Graffiti
These are a decent pair to learn how to free skate on. But that’s all there good for is ONLY to learn how to do the motion. If u buy this do not expect to get good on them. I had them for four days and they were already chipping. And they have a big logo on the top of the deck so u lose a lot of grip tape for ur feet. They wheels are more square than circular in a way. If u are actually interested in free skating go to JMK and there website. Yes there skates are much more expensive but they are well worth it if ur going to do something with free skates. Plus the grip tape on these are terrible. My feet are constantly slipping off over and over again. ... show more
