This is a very sturdy mount to add an extinguisher to a UTV or 4x4. For my purpose, the included hose clamps were too large, so I picked some up 2” clamps at a local auto parts store. Fit & finish of this bracket is great, and like I said, it holds secure. I have been off-road several times and it hasn’t budged. ... show more

I used this to attach a fire extinguisher (specifically a Home1 fire extinguisher, they're ~$20 at Harbor Freight) to the harness bar in my car. The clamps given to attach to the fire extinguisher are just about a perfect size for this task, however the ones given to attach the mount to the bar are too long for a bar like this. So if you're going out to get a fire extinguisher, get a ~$8 set of random size clamps from Harbor Freight; they do the job great. I used thin foam pads around the inside of the clamps to prevent scratching. The mount is very secure and the release mechanism works great, and has no rattle. The fire extinguisher itself, in 99% of cases, will rattle (over some bumps it'll rattle a bit, but considering how much vibration is in my car it doesn't make noise often). Some reviews mentioned the angle/curvature of the mount was odd for the bars they were mounting it to, and those people had photos of the mount installed backwards.. reference the photo in my review; if you mount it right, it works perfect. This mount is awesome. I actually installed it in the bed of my Dodge Ram pickup so I would have the fire extinguisher in case of a fire in my race car trailer. It simply works great. I will be ordering another one to mount in the trailer itself. Only change I would make is it would be great if there was a provision to easily lock the extinguisher in place. I came up with a bracket that bolts to the fire extinguisher itself so all is good! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Looks good and has 2 options for mounting, either screw clamp or holes to put screws in to screw it down. However, I don't like how loose the 2 pieces are together. It's going to rattle very badly......See video
