  • Quick and easy arch
Color: Black
Fast assembly, not too sturdy but works fine if anchored

  • Fits the need under budget!
Color: Black
So my application is a little far out, but essentially I'm using this arch as a decorative way to run irrigation tubing from one section of the yard into a filled-in pool. Not wanting to build my own just yet out of wood, I stumbled across this product. For the price, I figured it was worth a shot. It was pretty easy to assemble, took maybe 30 minutes by myself. My first impression upon regarding the final assembly is that it's not going to be perfectly straight. The steel tubes just are not thick nor toleranced well enough (probably by design to make it easier to assemble). My second impression was that whatever weather-resistant coating they put on it is just a gimmick. I noticed rust within 24 hours, but really only around the screw heads and the ends of the tube pieces. The majority of the tube shell is still fine though, but I don't expect this structure to last more than a few years staying outside. On the flip side, this is strong enough to support a rational amount of weight. I wouldn't count on hanging a bunch of planters (at least in the middle), but it does support the weight of water distribution tubing. Maybe even a heavy a garden hose draped over the profile of the arch. The dimensions are accurate, and width is plus or minus a few inches due to the "flexibility" of the structure. Because I planned on embedding the feet in the ground, the height ended up being an issue for me. But because this assembly uses a bunch of the same tubes, I just bought another one of these arches and used some extra tubes to create a taller arch. It's a little gaudy right now, but I'm planning on putting some black mesh over it and covering with morning glory vines. So in conclusion, is it a nice arch that I'd recommend to have displayed in your front yard? No, at least not just the bare structure. But for the price, does it work? I think so. ... show more

  • Great as a trellis
Color: Black
Used this for a cucumber trellis for my raised bed garden and it worked out great!! Make sure to secure it to the ground and structure - the material is light and a little flimsy but suited my purposes perfectly.

  • Can’t hold weight and flimsy.
Color: White 1pc
We bought this for a wedding. (We also bought a more heavy duty wooden arch too.) The idea was that the bride (my niece) would have this covered in greenery with drapery attached to hide her until she walked through at the beginning of the aisle. This arch can be built two ways. Either very tall and narrow OR wide and short. To accommodate the drapes, they built the arch with the wide version which I don’t recommend. A tiny bit of artificial greenery and drapes were enough for it to start to bow in the middle, and we had to reinforce it with wooden dowels zip tied to the sides and the top. It worked, but it was just extra work for us. Perhaps a taller and narrow arch would have been more sturdy. Also, if you make the taller version, two people have to be very close to walk through it, and if you make the wider version, it’s really hard for a tall person to walk through without ducking. No matter what the measurements say, this has to be somewhat stuck in the ground to keep it from blowing over. For the price, I didn’t expect too much, so not too disappointed. Color: Black
I broke the garden soil up with a fork before installing the trellis. One of the bottom legs bent when I pushed it into the dirt. It's flimsy.

  • Love it - worth every penny
Color: Brown Strengthen
The media could not be loaded. I like the fact that I found an arbor that was less than $100 and basic, as opposed to the local hardware stores carrying very expensive arbors. If you go to Harbor freight, you can get a can of this rust prevention stuff and you might be able to use it for the screws but the paint seems decent quality and this tubing seems like it might be heavier Duty than the other tubing and competitor products, so I definitely recommend this. I would say based on some of the other reviews to make sure you get these screws in here but not too tight and you want little movement in the frame after installed. I'm using it to hold a trumpet vine and it seems structurally-ready. I have 4x180 lb proof zip ties holding the frame to 4 Stakes (and the stakes only cost $20), so do yourself a favor and get something to brace this thing down to... Generally, I don't see many people getting this tubing/frame a foot deep into the ground easy, so do yourself a favor and reinforce it to something nearby as this is a very light duty frame, but with a little love- you can reinforce the frame with some lattice and steaks like I did and overall with power tools it only took me 10 minutes to put it together and it actually took me more time getting stakes in the ground and securing it, but not more than 1 hour total. You want to have a helping hand because it is very tall and you want to make sure and try and get it into the ground and firmly into the ground at least a foot deep. I was dealing with soft ground so I wanted to be careful is all... I hope this review helps others and thank you for providing a low cost arbor! ... show more

  • Great for a wedding arch or Chuppah.
Color: Brown Strengthen
This made a very easy, beautiful and convenient arch for my wedding. I pre-assembled it and decorated it the way I wanted for my wedding planner and took pictures in case they needed to make some adjustments. The whole thing is too big unless you rent a moving truck, so I only detached the top U of the arch making it 3 peices and left the decor on it. It fit nicely in the back of a pick up truck with more room to spare. Pros: It was beautiful and easy to assemble, it took about 30 minutes to set up the first time. It has spikes on the bottle to dig into the dirt and that was very helpful but could be removed too. Cons: it's not the most sturdy, it could definitely take 10x more decor like mine in weight. But for wind you would need to be cautious. Its not heavy on his own and I wouldn't use it for a garden trellis. I don't believe it could handle the weight of too many squashes, it could take a flowery bush. But I don't think it would be rain resistant for more than a year. It is painted metal, and you slide in the rail that are vertical and it has some exposed metal. ... show more
