This comes with two pairs of three sections of rods that simply slide together creating the two end uprights. Then, the lateral pieces slide down over the rods on the two uprights. Once together, the piece is very stable. In my photos, the piece is leaning, but that would is because the area where it will be permanently placed needs to be cleaned up first. The bottom section of the two upright rods each has a pointed end to make it easier to push into the ground. They go into the ground, but it makes it a whole lot easier if you soften the ground first with a fork or shovel. There is nothing to stand on to add your weight to the uprights to push down, so either soften the soil or use a mallet at the top to drive them into the soil Once up, it makes a very attractive screen. The lateral pieces are strong enough to hold hanging baskets like coir baskets that would normally be used as small window boxes. The finish on the metal lateral pieces should offer good protection from the elements. Overall, this is a very nice looking addition to a garden, whether alone or in combination with more pieces. Absolute ease of assembly with no tools needed.

I picked up this privacy screen to add some separation on my patio, and it's been working great. The size is just right—tall enough to create a comfortable barrier but not too bulky to move around. The steel core and polyethylene coating feel very durable, and it’s handled both sun and rain without any signs of wear. I love that it doubles as a trellis too; I’ve added a few climbing plants, and it’s really made the space look more inviting. It was easy to set up and stays stable on its own without any wall mounting. I’ve even used it inside once to block off a small work area, and it looked good there too. Overall, it’s a solid, good-looking option for anyone who wants more privacy without giving up style.

I bought one fence first to see if it would fit my deck space and it was perfect! I read reviews about cracked plastic pieces but did not experience any of these types of issues (even after buying 2 more fences). These are light weight, super easy to assemble ( even though I found it easier to assemble by not following included directions) and they provide just enough privacy w/o closing in the space. Sadly, I am having a different issue with the last of the fences purchased. The slats slide down and won’t remain in place which therefore makes the fences different heights. I have written the seller about an option of getting new (rubber) bands which support the slat placements but have not heard back from the seller. It would be too much effort to disassemble and mail back the fence so I will try to resolve the slat-slippage issue myself. Otherwise I highly recommend. P.S. I had envisioned hanging potted plants on the rungs of the slats (as shown in seller’s pic) but I don’t think these slats are strong enough to support a potted plant w/o cracking.

The quality of this fence was very poor.. The fence slats do not stay up and constantly slide down or get stuck, the rubber stopper on the fence does not stay on, the legs on the bottom do not hold the poles in place, it wiggles excessively and it also does not have strong welds and cracked upon assembling. I am very disappointed in this purchase as it took a long time to assemble and to clear the space for them on my patio. And in the end I’m unable to even use them. I would not recommend buying this style of fence. I purchased an almost identical one from another brand and I had many issues with that one as well. It seems like this style/make of fence just isn’t made of quality and consistent (same size) materials.. For the price I would have hoped for consistency in the tubing size, and use of quality materials. However this hasn’t been the case with this fence.. In all honesty it would probably be easier and less stressful to build one of these by hand than to hassle with another one of these again.

This might be a strange review, but we didn't buy this screen for privacy. We were actually looking for a creative way to build a large, vertical play area for our pet parrot inside our house. We needed something sturdy that he could safely climb on and that we could hang his various toys from. When I saw the decorative pattern on this screen, it looked like the perfect climbing lattice. We set it up freestanding in our living room, and it has been an absolute game-changer for our bird's enrichment. Just as the user mentioned, we use it to hold all his favorite toys – we clip on bells, shreddable toys, and little wooden blocks, and he has a blast exploring and climbing all over the structure. The PE-coating on the steel is durable and easy to wipe clean, and the whole thing is very stable on its stand, so we don't worry about it tipping over. Even though we're using it in this very unconventional way, I can tell the quality is excellent and it would certainly be a beautiful and sturdy privacy screen on a patio. But for any other bird owners out there looking for a creative play gym solution that also looks surprisingly stylish in a living room, this has been an amazing and unexpected find for us.

This is a fun item. I have tried it in a couple different points in my yard as I am redoing my backyard this summer and adding a patio plus expanding my food garden. I’m working on making my backyard into a bit of an outdoor oasis for friends, family, and myself. The backside of my yard has a large cedar tree hedge, with my neighbors having a fence that runs perpendicular and intersects with the cedar hedge. The other side of my backyard is a very large food garden, and the front is blocked off between both my garage and my house as they are unconnected. That said, I don’t necessarily need a fence type privacy screen, but more of a bit of a divider to define and separate a living /relaxation area in my backyard. This is a big summer of remodeling my outdoor areas and with the new patio plans, I wanted some borders/outer perimeter of the patio that can somewhat enclose it while not being permanent. This is absolutely perfect for that objective! I took pictures of this installed at another point in my yard… At the edge of the back of my house, which would be the one area where the Front is a bit more exposed, but for logistical reasons and for the sake of the neighborhood the kids who end up playing soccer in our yard, I decided to remove it from there. I have my mindset now on purchasing two more of these and keeping them in front of the fence that is shown in the first of my two pictures. it just makes a lot more sense for me as that’s where my patio is going to be as well. Yes, I will move it closer to the Cedar tree and then have three of them next to each other and I’ll be ijh in a cement Black so plants on there, and if I don’t screw it into the ground with some cement & long screws, which are even included in the kit for this. I really want that added protection for kids in the area, from storms, and just enough to be able to give me the ability to hang plants from it. If I don’t, I know that it won’t stand up on its own for long-term. I have some planter benches that I am debating on putting in between those panels or just putting up all three panels tight together and the planter benches in front of it. I haven’t decided yet, but I hope that this helps you decide if this will be great for you and maybe gives you a couple ideas of how to use it.t

I like that this product is pressure fit and easy to slip assemble. I used a little bit of baby shampoo and water spray to help the slats slide onto the vertical poles. These added a sophisticated look to my balcony and completely changed the vibe. The brown/black is easy to match for outdoor furniture and floor mounting points work great. While I haven't used it yet, the included pieces to attach more sections together makes this an awesome modular piece, so I love know that I can expand my set later. This is a mix of metal and plastic yet seems to be quite durable and does not get too hot in the sun. Recommending this privacy screen system.
