Let's be real: "heavy duty" on tiny fence posts sounds like an oxymoron. I was skeptical, to say the least. But my old wooden posts were doing the "leaning tower of poultry Pisa" thing, and I was tired of patching up escape attempts. So, I took a chance on these little guys. First off, assembly was a breeze. I'm no Hercules, but I pounded these suckers into the ground like nobody's business. They're surprisingly sturdy, even in my rocky soil. And let me tell you, my fence lines went from floppy flag in the wind to taut chicken trampoline. Not a peep, not a flutter, not a feathered Houdini act since. Now, they're not magic. If you've got a T-Rex in chicken form, these might not be your jam. But for your average backyard coop crew, these little metal marvels are a game-changer. My girls have more room to strut their stuff, and I have way less stress about surprise skydiving sessions. So yeah, 4 stars for exceeding my tiny post expectations. Just don't tell the chickens I said they were cute. Bonus tip: If you're feeling fancy, grab a can of spray paint and match them to your coop. My ladies are rocking a lavender look these days. These metal fence stakes from CoscosX kind of look medieval with the long length and sort of ornate flag 3/4 of the length down the shaft. However, we all know these won't work on Dracula because they are made of metal. Wood stakes are the preferred defense. These green painted metal garden stakes are just right for holding up wire fencing and chicken wire or as an intermediate post to support long runs of field fence. Once pounded into the earth with either a sledge hammer or a post driver, these posts provide a stable upright to keep your wire fence intact. The slotted u-shaped upright accepts most rolled wire fencing and allow for you to crimp the tabs onto the wire once installed correctly if seeking a longer term installation. Our particular situ is temporary protection of young pine trees. As they grow, we will reposition the posts and increase the diameter of the wire fencing to allow the spread of branches and to keep the damaging forest beasts from eating or wrecking the branches. The range of sizes from 3 feet to 7 feet tall gives you plenty of options for your fencing requirements. Just make sure you keep a few wooden stakes handy. Just in case. ... show more

I am working on a hugulkulture bed or two which is an old German style of gardening. You put old wood leave and organic matter in a tall pile in a long row. I needed something taller to hold the leaves and lighterweight material in until I add the dirt and put actual wood logs around the bottom. These posts are the perfect height for me to use 2 foot chicken wire to hold everything in. They are a heavy metal like the longer posts so tough and hold well with weight against them. I know it says no dig - which is true but I did need my hammer to drive them into the ground far enough, so depending on your soil you might need to help them a big. Plus I wanted them in tight to stretch the wire on. I'm very pleased with them and no doubt they will come up easy and move when I get ready to start the next bed... ... show more

Size: 3FT 5PCS
These are as good as any other metal stakes I’ve used. They are a bit shorter than the others I used for my fence out front but they are just as strong. They are well-made. Solid. Easy to use. Couple good taps with that fence post ram and these are set. Good smaller duty fence posts here.
