It features the power to drive up to 2" 18-Ga brad nails and the 2.0Ah 18V battery with fuel gauge lets you drive up to 700 brads per charge. It features Metabo HPT"s unique low maintenance Mechanical Spring Drive System. With this type of power and run time, you can complete your job on time without needing to stop for battery changes. The 18V Cordless 18-Gauge Brad Nailer is part of the expanding MultiVolt System 18-Volt and 36-Volt power tools from Metabo HPT. GO lighter with 18V batteries or GO longer with the unique MultiVolt battery that works on both 18V and 36V tools to double your runtime for up to 8.0Ah of runtime per charge for more power on the GO.

I just finished using this to install tongue-and-groove wainscotting on our porch. I was a pleasure. The Metabo brad nailer fits nicely in my grip, and operated smoothly, with not a single jam. It drove 1-1/4 inch brads with no problem. The safety features were easy to use and effective. Loading brads is unusually easy and problem-free, with guides grooves for the points and the heads to help with orientation and ensure correct positioning. On one load I positioned the brads incorrectly, and the chamber would not close until I corrected the placement. That helps reduce the chance of jamming. My Craftsmen brad nailer with little use failed in the middle of a project. This Metabo is higher quality in every manner I can see. It even has an access point to aid in removing jammed brads. Oh, cordless nailer, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I got this during a Black Friday deal, which was a nice perk. Being a cordless nailer, I was somewhat skeptical if it would hold up to the power of my pneumatic set up. I was pleasantly surprised that it did very well. The battery lasts a lot longer than anticipated. I do suggest having more than one battery so that one can charge while one is being used. This little nailer makes projects infinitely easier.
