Absolutely Fantastic AI Glasses That Exceeded My Expectations!
Color: Matte Black / Clear Lens Type: Standard Size: Standard
Pros: * Exceptionally lightweight and comfortable * Spectacular sound quality from discreet speakers * Beautiful, classic Ray-Ban frames * Remarkably easy setup, even for nontechnical users * Convenient hands-free AI assistance * Excellent battery life * Great for calls, videos, music, reminders, and everyday tasks * Impressive quality and thoughtful design Consider: * Some features require a smartphone and internet connection * Open-ear speakers offer less privacy in very quiet environments * No camera, which may matter to some buyers I absolutely love these glasses! I was initially skeptical about how useful AI glasses would actually be, but these have completely exceeded my expectations. What started as curiosity has turned into genuine enthusiasm. The more I learn, experiment, and discover what they can do, the more impressed I become. First, the setup experience is exceptional. Everything is presented in such a clear, intuitive manner that even someone with very little technical knowledge should be able to get these glasses up and running without difficulty. The instructions walk you through the process beautifully. I appreciate technology that is sophisticated without making the user work to understand it. The comfort is another wonderful surprise. These frames are incredibly lightweight, and the way they rest on my ears and nose is remarkably comfortable. They look and feel like beautiful, traditional Ray-Ban glasses rather than some bulky piece of technology. The frames themselves are gorgeous, with the quality and styling I would expect from Ray-Ban. And the sound! I genuinely cannot understand how they’ve managed to produce such spectacular audio from something so small and discreet. The sound quality is fantastic. One of my favorite discoveries has nothing to do with AI. I can lie in bed watching videos or listening to something without disturbing anyone nearby. It’s such a simple convenience, but one I’ve come to appreciate enormously. The AI capabilities are where these glasses really become exciting. I love being able to ask questions and receive information almost instantly without reaching for my phone. It’s especially entertaining during conversations when I can discreetly access information without anyone realizing what I’m doing. Having answers readily available feels surprisingly natural once you get accustomed to it. I’ve also started using the glasses to update my task lists and capture reminders throughout the day. Instead of thinking of something I need to accomplish and hoping I’ll remember it later, I can address it immediately. I’m already noticing that more things are getting done simply because it’s so convenient to stay organized. What impresses me most is how seamlessly everything comes together. The beautiful frames, lightweight construction, exceptional audio, intuitive controls, and genuinely useful AI capabilities make these feel like a thoughtfully designed product rather than technology added simply for novelty. Every day I discover another reason to appreciate them. I’m having a wonderful time learning what they’re capable of, and they’ve already become part of my daily routine. Fantastic quality, beautiful design, and genuinely useful technology. These are among the most impressive products I’ve tried in a long time. I absolutely love them! ... show more

Cool glasses / sound is great / few issues
Color: Matte Black / Clear Lens Type: Standard Size: Standard
I was given the opportunity to try and review these Meta Ray-ban audio only AI glasses. A few things to note going into this review are that I was only given the opportunity to order the standard size glasses and only with standard/clear lenses. The glasses are a little small for my face. That being said, the technology and audio sound from these glasses sound great. These come in a Ray-ban charging case. Simply plug the case in via USB-C and put the glasses into the case until it makes a small click and the glasses start charging through the nose port. Once charged and I downloaded and signed into the app, the glasses were super easy to pair to my android phone. I put on my streaming service and instantly heard music in my ears coming from the glasses and the sound is great. One of the things that I do not like about these, however, is that to put the sound level where I like to listen to music, is so loud that people around me can hear it. That is a distraction to the public and one of my biggest pet peeves is listening to other people's music and conversations in public. These will not stop that. So I plan on using these glasses more around the house when I'm cutting the lawn or doing other activities. The glasses also come with a few cleaning cloths and a few different nose pads for your comfort. What is also neat is that the glasses can tell when they are put on and taken off of your face and it makes a sound and starts/stops the audio depending on your action. You adjust the volume, stop/start the audio my using the right arm of the glasses. Saying "Hey Meta" or press the small button on the right side of the glasses to trigger the AI and ask any questions. There is a small on/off switch on the right side near the lenses as well, Are these worth $350? NO. But they are fairly cool. I went out and purchased polarized lenses to pair with these (about $80) so that they are more usable than the clear/non-prescription lenses. Not sure how much the version with a camera in them cost, maybe those are worth it with the extra functionality. ... show more

Stylish and useful audio
Color: Matte Black / Clear Lens Type: Standard Size: Standard
These are an interesting combination of everyday glasses and wireless audio technology. I like that they have the appearance of regular Ray-Bans rather than looking like an obvious piece of tech. The Burbank style is versatile, and the built-in speakers are a nice alternative to having to wear earbuds throughout the day. I've been hesitant to get the meta glasses with the camera because I don't want to appear to be recording constantly in public, so these are a great alternative. One of the biggest appeals is being able to listen to music, take calls, and access voice assistant features without constantly reaching for your phone. The hands-free functionality is especially convenient for multitasking. I also enjoy that its audio without having to actually have headphones in or over my ear and allows me to still be full aware of my surroundings. The advertised battery life of up to 12 hours is another appealing feature, especially for everyday use. Overall, I like the concept of combining something you would already wear with useful technology. The biggest consideration is whether you'll use the smart features frequently enough to justify the price compared to ordinary sunglasses or wireless earbuds. Overall good quality as they should be for how expensive they are. I'm generally a fan of ray-bans anyways and may try to swap the lenses for prescription in the future if I continue liking these. They do also pair very easily with my iphone. ... show more

These are a great idea, but they won’t pair with my phone
Color: Matte Black / Clear Lens Type: Standard Size: Standard
Pros: • Light weight • Good battery life • Good looking Cons: • Won’t pair with my phone Review: I really want to love these glasses. The problem is that the app won’t pair with my 2025 Moto G Stylus, Android 16, phone. They will pair for Bluetooth audio and media, but the Meta AI features don’t work. I was able to pair them with my older OnePlus 8 5G phone, so I don’t think it’s user error or a defective product. While paired with the OnePlus, I was able to do a firmware update on the glasses. I have a support ticket with Ray-Ban. I’ll update this review if they can help me get this figured out. Quality/Build: The glasses and charger/case are very well made and attractive. Value: At the time of this review (October 2026), the cost for this item is $349.00. Verdict: I cannot recommend these glasses. ... show more

Functional, but ultimately pretty average
Color: Matte Black / Clear Lens Type: Standard Size: Standard
I wanted to like these more than I actually do. They look good and have the familiar Ray-Ban styling, so as a pair of glasses they certainly don't scream “tech product.” The audio functionality is convenient, but after using them, the overall experience just feels fairly average. The biggest limitation for me is the lack of a camera. Without one, a lot of the functionality I associate with smart or AI glasses simply isn't there, and that makes these feel more like glasses with built-in audio than a particularly exciting piece of wearable technology. Depending on what you're looking for, that may be perfectly adequate, but I found the experience a little boring. I've also had occasional trouble with the touch controls on the right arm. Most of the time they respond as expected, but there have been enough instances where a touch or gesture wasn't recognized that it became noticeable. At this price and with a product carrying the Meta and Ray-Ban names, I expected the controls to feel more consistently polished. There's nothing terribly wrong with them—they look nice, the audio features are useful, and the concept has potential. They just don't do enough to impress me, particularly without a camera, and the occasionally unresponsive touch controls don't help. Overall, these land squarely in the middle for me: not bad, not great, just a very average three-star product. ... show more

Good sound and Ai availability-at a cost
Color: Matte Black / Clear Lens Type: Standard Size: Standard
Meta Ray-Ban Audio, AI Glasses The Ray-Ban Meta Audio Clubmaster and Burbank are camera-free, audio-only AI smart glasses starting at $349 USD. The main difference lies in their aesthetic silhouette—the Clubmaster features a retro brow line style with accent details, while the Burbank offers a classic, timeless rectangular acetate frame. I have tried both, and the performance were identical. I obtained them because I thought they were different-they are not. I am reviewing the standard non-tinted lens one. Transitional and polarized lens are available at a higher price plint. At $349, the Meta Ray-Ban Audio Burbank glasses offer open-ear audio, hands-free calls, and voice-controlled Meta AI in a traditional-looking frame. Their main selling point is simple: enjoy audio and AI without earbuds or built-in cameras. But is that convenience worth the price? Why Choose the Camera-Free Model? These glasses are designed for people who want Meta's audio and AI features without photo or video recording. The open-ear speakers let you listen while remaining aware of your surroundings, and the microphones support calls and voice commands. The lack of cameras may also make them more suitable in places where recording devices are unwelcome. However, they still use microphones and Meta's connected services, so privacy and app permissions deserve attention. Setup and Pairing Setup was surprisingly easy. The Meta AI app provided step-by-step instructions, and pairing worked flawlessly with my five-year-old Samsung S20 FE 5G. When my son saw the box marked “Made for iPhone,” he assumed the glasses wouldn't work with my Android phone. He was wrong. Android compatibility worked exactly as expected. You'll need the Meta AI app to access AI features and manage the glasses. There are plenty of settings and permissions to review. I initially skipped the optional customization to test the basic functions, then returned to examine the permissions. That process took about an hour, and I recommend taking the time to decide what access you're comfortable granting. Lightweight Design and Comfort At approximately 43 grams, these feel noticeably lighter than Meta's camera-equipped glasses. Adjustable temple tips, overextension hinges, and nose pads help provide a secure fit. Wearing them for several hours was more comfortable than wearing my Meta Gen 2 or Gen 3 glasses, although my regular prescription glasses remain more comfortable. Overall, they feel more like conventional eyewear than an electronic gadget. Audio, Calls, and Controls Audio is enjoyable at moderate volumes, with reasonable depth and richness. Clarity and fidelity decline as the volume increases, so I still prefer my Shokz headphones for audiobooks and music while driving or running. Call performance was very good in real-world testing. I made calls from my car, while walking outdoors, in a crowded café, and inside a big-box hardware store. Both parties could hear clearly, with minimal distracting background noise. The six-microphone array handled these situations well. The right temple's touchpad controls volume, music, and calls. A small inward-facing LED provides notifications, and a separate action button offers a shortcut. Unfortunately, the button has only two assignments: activate Meta AI or play recommended music playlists. It cannot trigger a custom prompt or answer or mute calls. Those are disappointing omissions on glasses designed primarily for audio and communication. Battery Life Meta rates these glasses for up to 12 hours per charge, compared with up to nine hours for the Gen 3 camera-equipped model. In an early test, nearly four hours of continuous music streaming left slightly less than half the battery charge remaining. That's promising, but I used a low volume, and this wasn't a comprehensive battery test. Actual runtime will depend on listening volume, calls, and AI usage. Limitations and Buying Considerations • Dark lenses: Sunglass lenses aren't ideal indoors, at night, or on cloudy days. Prescription and transition-lens options may help, depending on the configuration. • AI limitations: Answers can be inaccurate, and complex requests may require rephrasing. • Privacy: Review app permissions carefully. Camera-free doesn't mean data-free. • Meta ecosystem: The glasses rely on Meta's app and services, which may not appeal to everyone. • Price: At $349, consider whether you'll use the features regularly or whether these will become an expensive novelty. Pros • Enjoyable audio at moderate volumes • Lightweight, adjustable design • Very good call performance in my testing • Promising battery life • No cameras or photo/video recording • Flawless pairing with my older Android phone Cons • Audio quality declines at higher volumes • Limited action-button customization • Dark lenses restrict indoor use • Dependence on Meta's app and services • Expensive for an audio-focused device Final Thoughts Many people, myself included, don't realize that some smart glasses have no cameras. Even though these glasses cannot take photos or record video, don't be surprised if people give you questionable looks when they notice you're wearing Meta glasses. The camera-free design may eliminate recording concerns, but it doesn't eliminate the perception that all smart glasses are recording devices. The Meta Ray-Ban Audio Burbank glasses are best suited to people who want open-ear listening, hands-free calls, and voice access to Meta AI without earbuds or cameras. Comfort, straightforward setup, strong call performance, and promising battery life are the main advantages. At $349, however, the limited action-button functionality and declining audio quality at higher volumes make the value harder to justify if you already own good earbuds or other Meta glasses. For someone specifically seeking camera-free smart eyewear, these are an appealing option. For everyone else, the deciding factor is whether the convenience will become part of everyday life—or simply an expensive novelty. ... show more
