I was having a hard time with my Meta Quest 3. It was giving me the "Can't find position in room" error constantly and frequently in the middle of game play. I realized that the sensor inside the headset near my forehead was either dirty or being blocked by something. I cleaned the sensor, but was still getting the error message. I purchased this in the hopes that it would maybe resolve the issue since the original foam was overly soft and squishy. Even though the price was higher than I wanted to pay, changing out the interface finally resolved the issue. Now nothing is being compressed, folding over and interfering with the sensor. It is also much more comfortable and easier to clean than the OEM foam/fabric one. I have not noticed any heat retention or increased sweating while wearing since I started using it. I highly recommend it if you are looking or needing to replace the facial interface for your headset. ... show more

Great silicone facial interface, it kept it's form for me after 2 years of heavy usage. Feels good on the skin even during intense sessions with sweat. Hygienic, easy to clean while remaining comfortable, just wipe it down with a cloth after each session. It's easy to clean by squirting some hydrogen peroxide onto a wash cloth and then wiping it down, and then repeating that again with water, followed up by wiping it down with a dry cloth. First off, I want to say that this colour looks really good. I’m sure the blue is just a nice, but orange happens to be my favourite colour. I concede that this definitely falls under an unnecessary vanity-upgrade, but it does a good job at being just that. In a [very] well lit room, there will be light bleed. This is just a characteristic of the coloured plastic material. Some have said this ruins immersion, but I stopped noticing it after a few minutes. In a less-bright room, I didn’t notice it at all. Is it worth $50, especially if you don’t end up using the orange default strap? Probably not. I happened to get it when the price dropped, but I suspect it was still an over-spend for something that’s 100% an aesthetic upgrade. HOWEVER, if you’ve got the spare change, and like the look of the colour, I’d recommend going for it. ... show more
