I'm using this with a Meta Quest 3 and I have no regrets with buying this product. I've seen the battery of the Quest 3 drop down into the 60% range once, but that was after many hours of use. I am using the charging cable and adapter that came with the Quest 3 to plug into the link cable. The link cable speed is very good; I tested it using the Meta application and the average speed is around 2 GBs, but I've seen it test as high as 2.5 GBs. This has been plenty fast to play Microsoft Flight Simulator and No Man's Sky at a high quality in VR without any problems. One thing to note: I did receive a notification while using my Quest 3 that it was charging too slow once, so I unplugged everything, then connected everything back up following the user manual directions and it was charging normally again. Again, this only happened once so far after many hours of use and wasn't much of a hassle to fix. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say about this product. ... show more

This thing goes beyond any other cable many I feel have been able to find from what I've heard. A lot of people have told me they have struggled to find a cable that can consistently power their headset, but I gotta say, aside from being able to do that, this thing is SOLID. You're getting a piece of ROPE here. It's aluminum on each end, and has the thickest nylon braid I've ever seen for a cable, without adding much weight to it at all. Comes with a little Velcro strap to attach to the headset, and there are indicator lights to let you know when the charging is working on both ends. This thing is super nice, and works as an extender too. You don't even need to plug it into a PC if you just need a long cable for standalone play too. Highly freaking recommended. ... show more

it works really good but it keeps the battery at 100 so it doesn’t really got to the 78 percent advertised which overall isn’t great for the battery but it works and keeps your headset charged while playing

I have been using this cable for the quest 3. Initially I had issues with the battery hovering at 100 percent when not used and dropping relatively slowly when used on the oculus power brick. I then bought a 45W wall plug from INIU and now it stays at 69 to 70 percent at all times as advertised. This is great because it likely puts less strain on the battery. The cable also doesn't tangle very often and does a pretty good job of staying out of my way when playing games. It is capable of running the 500mb bit rate with max resolution on 120fps with no issues. I would recommend knocking the bitrate up to 500 with the oculus debug tool if using link because it looks pretty fuzzy if not. Do not use this as a phone charger though. I thought I could get away with it and my phone got really hot overnight. It likely is pretty bad for the battery. Use it for your VR headset only. ... show more

I've been using the Kuject Design link cable with my Quest 2 without any issues. With my new Quest 3, the Kuject cable was not charging fast enough to keep the headset charged for very long, even with a 30w PD-capable USB charger and 100w capable usb-c cable. Once I got this INIU link cable, everything works great. I can play non-stop for 2-3 hours at a time with no loss in battery charge on the Quest 3. The charge would either stay the same (tried at around 90%) or even gain 1-2% after 3 hours of use which was nice to see. As other reviewers have said, I followed the directions exactly as written on the little sticker that comes on the charging box on the INIU cable itself: - Plug your USB charger and usb-c cable into the INIU cable charging box. - Plug the INIU cable usb-c connector into the Quest 3. - Plug the INIU cable usb-a connector into your PC. I used a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port on my PC. - Enable PC link on your Quest 3. All these steps done with the Quest 3 and PC both on already and the Meta/oculus software running on the PC. Remember to have a good USB charger capable of PD (I used an UGREEN 30W) and a USB-C cable (I used a 100w 5A cable) that can support it. I didn't test this product with the stock 18W charger and cable that came with the Quest 3, so I'm not sure if that combination will be enough to keep a good charge during PCVR. So, I have had this for a little while now and I can say that it is useless. Every time I link it my computer shuts off and I have to power off my computer by unplugging it, then wait a bit and plug it back in and restart computer. Then it will link up. However, it claims to keep the headset charged while you play but that is simply untrue. I haven't had it do that from day one, thought I had made a mistake so re plugged it back in in the correct order and that still changed nothing. I am getting a new cable now and as I waited too long that I can't get a refund. I have resigned myself to get the one from Oculus and bite the $80 cost bullet and loss of the money I spent on this garbage cable bullet too. Please do not make the same mistake I did! ... show more

Bought to be able to use my quest 3 while charging and so far it's done me very good. The cord is long enough to walk any distance in my room and still have some slack. Don't have to worry about damaging it by stepping on it with the flyweave material. Overall one of the best cords I've used.

First off this cord can be a bit finnicky due to Quest 3's software either recognizing it only as a charge or only as a USB input from your PC. But I found that the main thing you have to do is plug the cord to PC and the Quest3 first and make sure Oculus software is running and recognizes your Q3 is connected, then plug your Quest3 power cord to the INIU Link cable. Then the charge will start while you are using the Quest 3 in PCVR. Unfortunately you have to do this everytime for your Quest 3 to be recognized. But compared with METAs $70 Link cable that doesn't even provide a charge, it's easily worth it. I do solo PCVR because I have a beefy setup, and the whole point of VR for me is that it's IMMERSING you in the world artists and developers create. I want that world to have the best graphics and physics to be able to be successful at immersion. I do also enjoy the augmented reality capabilities of the Q3, but I want to be able to play highly detailed games and not worry about my Battery running low.
