  • Wow! This Headset is Amazing! Experience Well Worth the Investment!
Size: 512GB Style: Headset + Controllers, Refreshed Packaging
UPDATE: OK, so I've had this for months now, and I still love it! I use it every day! It's so nice to just escape sometimes; once you put it on, you're no longer in your living room, or your basement... the graphics are that good on some of these apps! My go-to apps are Supernatural: Unreal Fitness (turn the coaches off via the Focus button, as they get annoying after a while), and Beat Saber... I use them every day. Beat Saber has some incredible surrounding graphics and animations, and I love slicing through all the cubes moving toward me to amazing music. Unreal Fitness drops you in really cool places around the world (and some made up, I've noticed), and it doesn't even feel like exercise; it's so satisfying to break 100% of the glass balls! You just don't know until you try it, and it's so believable since the graphics is incredibly crisp and clear! OK... original post below: This is my first experience with VR/AR/MR, as I chose to wait until the graphics were more impressive (actually, I've been waiting quite a long time... since VR conversations became fairly commonplace with the release of the Sega Genesis! Yeah... I'm that old.). I'm so glad I started with this unit (Meta Quest 3) because I was truly blown away right from the start! The setup process was easy enough, though it had its quirks (I used an e-mail setup since I don't use Facebook). In setting up the MQ3 via my phone, I noticed I had to close the app twice to get it to resume where it left off (when you close/reopen, it recognizes you were not done and resumes without issue, so try that if you get stuck). I've only had it for a few days and am blown away by the Batman app (I don't like fighting games, but this is mostly exploring with relatively little fighting), Red Matter (incredible experience; finished it yesterday!), Red Matter 2 (started today and am already hooked!), and I really love the Supernatural: Unreal Fitness program! The first two apps were free (Batman is included in the package I bought here, and Red Matter (the 1st one) came with the free Quest+ trial subscription, and I paid for the latter two. The Unreal Fitness program is $10/month, and totally worth it! You can't know/understand until you try it, and they do give you a free week trial, btw. I am a runner (all my life) and enjoy staying in shape, and this fitness program is amazing, as they drop you in different (beautiful!) places around the world, and the music is great and the movement patterns are really fun (honestly, I didn't think I'd like it at first, as it sounded boring... but I'm so glad I kept an open/curious mind and tried it out!). The graphics on the games is so detailed, right down to chipped paint and curling wallpaper on walls, etc... and I love the intuitive movements... I'm the guy who will squat down in these games to check under chairs and desks for clues, and it's just so amazingly realistic! I did begin to feel somewhat panicked the first time I crawled out of the window in Batman and looked down into the alley from several stories up (and when I entered that huge generator room in Red Matter), but that just added to the experience and believability, so I'm more impressed by it than bothered! In fact, I was so impressed with the overall experience that I bought a set for my wife (she likes it, too) and another for my parents so that they can try it out! Highly recommended! I also bought the Elite Strap Battery for more comfort and to add more play time and I'm glad I did, so consider getting one of those, too (or a similar device). Oh, and you'll need a rubber/silicone cover for the mask part (that touches your face) to protect that cloth from sweat (not sure why they put cloth there... odd). Anyway, enjoy! I certainly am! ... show more

  • Next-Level Immersion
Size: 512GB Style: Headset + Controllers, Refreshed Packaging
The Meta Quest 3 512GB blew me away. The clarity is noticeably sharper than previous models, and the mixed reality passthrough is shockingly good—actually usable, not just a gimmick. Setup was smooth, performance is snappy, and the 512GB gives you breathing room for tons of games and media. The included Batman: Arkham Shadow is a huge win—it looks gorgeous and feels cinematic. I also like the Meta Quest+ trial; it gave me access to a nice variety of games right away. The only downside is battery life—it’s okay, not great—but for untethered VR with this level of visual fidelity and AR blending, it's a game-changer. ... show more

  • A Big Step Forward for VR—Especially at This Price
Size: 512GB Style: Headset + Controllers, Refreshed Packaging
I’ve been deep into VR for nearly 20 years and upgrade with every generation. From the Quest 2 to the 3, the lens upgrade is easily one of the best generational improvements I've seen. The clarity is outstanding—these are some of the best lenses on the market, and they’re packed into one of the most affordable standalone headsets available. VR hasn’t taken off the way many of us hoped, and honestly, I’m not sure it ever will. But that doesn’t take away from how enjoyable the experience is—especially now. Replaying older games I’ve had for years feels fresh again thanks to the upgraded visuals. I know there are tons of reviews out there, and I’m not trying to repeat what’s already been said, but this is hands down the easiest headset to set up out of the box. It automatically maps your play area, and the mixed reality (VR to AR) capabilities are genuinely impressive. It opens the door to what VR could become. At this point, it looks like VR will remain a niche hobby for the foreseeable future. But if you’re on the fence, the Quest 3 is an incredible value for what it offers. I really hope future headsets build on this foundation—it’s a game-changer. ... show more

  • A lot of fun!
Size: 512GB Style: Headset + Controllers, Refreshed Packaging
The quest 3 has been a lot of fun. It gets great (imo) battery life for a VR. The steam link works well and u have been playing half life alyx from it. The web integration for VR videos is seamless and with apps like skybox watching downloaded content whether on the headset or from the pc is a breeze. I got Batman included with the headset and that is A lot of fun as well. ... show more

  • Premium VR system with top-tier performance
Size: 512GB Style: Headset + Controllers, Refreshed Packaging
The Meta Quest 3 is an impressive step forward in standalone VR. It delivers sharp visuals, fast tracking, and a noticeably more immersive experience compared to earlier models. The headset is well-balanced and comfortable for extended play, and the interface feels smooth and intuitive. While it’s definitely on the expensive side, you’re getting a flagship experience. The newly released Quest 3S is a more budget-friendly version, but it doesn’t match the hardware power, mixed reality features, or display quality of the Quest 3. If you’re serious about VR gaming or immersive apps, the upgrade is worth it. It’s a great system — just be prepared to invest if you want the best performance Meta currently offers. ⸻ Q&A: Q: Is the Meta Quest 3 better than the new 3S? A: Yes — the Quest 3 has a faster processor, better display, and full-color mixed reality. The 3S is a cheaper, lower-end model. Q: Is it worth the high price? A: If you want the best standalone VR experience right now, yes — the performance justifies the price. Q: Is the Quest 3 easy to use for beginners? A: Absolutely. Setup is simple, and the interface is very user-friendly, even for first-time VR users. ... show more
