1. I cannot believe I got a near identical color match the first order! But I did! 2. This has to be the weirdest contraption I've ever seen. BUT it works!!! Now, I read most of the comments and viewed all the pics before I decided "what the hell, it's $10, I'll try it. The hair is soft, in no way does it feel or look like doll hair whatsoever. It also doesn't have that plasticy shine that screams "this isn't real." It seriously could pass being my hair. It's short hair, as to make a "messy" pony/bun so it's not super thick, again, making it even more realistic bc my hair is far from thick. Also, I've seen the complaints about the comb color and attachment style. Maybe they read those comments and improved? Mine was assembled very well. The fact that it's a comb with hair attached to bendy rods by zip ties is odd, but I don't care... It works so well. I make a pitiful pony/bun (my hair is so thin and fine) and insert the comb right on top of the hair tie, then I take one "rod of hair" and fold over the top (hiding the comb) and bend tip under my pony, then the other rod I do the same thing in the opposite direction. The bendy rods are secure enough without bobby pins. For me anyway. And I don't have much hair. This even works with a ball cap!! My whole reason I was looking for something like this was bc I spend most my summer at the lake & boating. I'd like to pull my hair up or wear a hat but I also want to look like I have SOME hair! One last thing, this would make super cute crazy pig tails or two cute tiny messy buns on top of your head, I was thinking more like a child - for crazy hair days at school!

These have gone down hill in quality tremendously! I have ordered Many over the years. They discontinued the 3 Foxtails comb version, now they only offer the 2 foxtails and the hair was quite a bit thinner. This curly one looks like someone took it out of the package, because the Hair was Frizzy . I ordered the Black/Brown- C . Good Match for anyone with VERY dark brown hair. I'm Keeping it and will make do! PS. Bring back the 3 foxtails! The Jaw Clip version is so heavy it can't grab Fine Hair and stay in. It falls right out. Ladies with Thick abundant hair are not your customer typically for this product ;))

Love love love this messy lil bun! I’m 71 yrs young & I wear it all the time . So comfy and I get lots of compliments on it. It looks real, matches my hair color perfectly so I ordered another one. I was afraid it might be discontinued. It’s not real thick so it looks real and its easy with the built in comb that attaches to your ponytail. Two of my girlfriends have ordered the same messy bun. One went to Europe and didn’t want to deal with her hair bought this one , came back and said it made her trip much more enjoyable. I’d highly recommend this messy bun. It’s stylish, soft, and cheap! Ordered one day got it the next ! Can’t go wrong! Order it! You won’t be sorry.

I love this product. My hair is too thin for certain clips. With this i twist my hair low. Hang this piece like a upside down horseshoe. Pull the bun up against my scalp. Twist the product at the bottom and go back up. I add my own personal hair clip and tease it a little at the top. Or make a pony tail and wrap it with the product and pin down. It looks good with any outfit. I receive a lot of compliments and it looks like my hair and hair color. To keep it spiky before use, just shake it. No need to brush it even if you tease it. I would definetly recommend this product. Good price and good product considering the Downside=I only had this product a month and the hair came unglued from the wire.

For some reason from the picture, I thought this was gonna two separate hair pieces on two different combs. Because of that when I got it, I cut off the zip ties thinking it was holding the combs together only to find out that I had cut the hair off the combs, which was probably a very good idea. The hair is on very thick wire, and I can’t see any way of attaching it with the combs that would make it good. Since I had accidentally removed the hair from the comb I just wrapped it around my bun and it actually turned out to look OK. Which is why I gave it two stars. If you plan on leaving it on the comb and try to make it look good. I don’t think you’ll have much success.
