I’ve only played with it a little so far, but this seems like a pretty good quality kit. The little jar of bloom was leaking in the box when it arrived. I know I’ll never be able to make it look like the pictures but look forward to playing around before Halloween.

Need a bit better of a seal on the containers. The coagulated was leaking all in the box. A piece of tape around the jar would help prevent this. Other than that the set is a nice collection of Halloween makeup effects you can use to basically create scars, wounds, etc.

Variety of different supplies contained in 1 kit. Good value for the $ considering all the variety included. Harder to use and create the designs shown in the photos than they make it out to be! Online description states "easy to use". Not for me! Practice makes perfect. I apparently need more practice! :)

This is a Special Effects SFX Makeup Kit-Bruise Makeup Face Body Painting Palette. It also comes with scar wax, spray blood, spatula and makeup sponges. It comes as a good starter kit for someone who wants to practice with getting ready for Halloween. The containers did come leaky and got all over everything so it left everything a mess, but you are still able to use if you clean it up. It didn’t leave my skin feeling irritated or anything and you definitely need to practice to be able to get the desired look you are going for. Overall, this is an okay kit for someone who just wants some practice.

If you're planning to use this for something important, needing special effects makeup, I'd forgo this kit. I've bought better quality at the big box stores before. This is your basic sfx makeup for kids when you're going to send them out w/ a few cuts on their fact to trick or treat. The makeup doesn't last long, has a funky scent to it, and is a little bit thinner than more expensive makeup kits. If you need just a basic kit to do a few designs for a couple hours -this is the one.

This is a super fun little set that would be a good addition to any scary, spooky, or gory Halloween costume. Everything stayed contained and nothing leaked. The reds are vibrant. It did stain skin a bit, so a little scrubbing, makeup remover, or oil might be required to completely remove it. This kit is awesome. I’ve never done gore makeup before, but in about 6 minutes I was able to make a pretty sweet looking fake gash on my arm. I was actually impressed at my fake wound. I never thought it would work so well. This kit has everything you need for a 3d wound, burnt/scraped/dirty skin, and some nice blood spatter. Great kit for Halloween or a zombie night out.

I liked that this kit allowed you to add a 3D effect to wounds. We’re going as a family of zombies and started practicing on looks for pictures. For skin flaps we used a glue gun on foil and spread the shape thin and add it on.
