OK i really like htis prodcut fo for the $10 i paid. I cannot get a roast beef sandwhich and fries for 10 bucks, the good. it holds me well I weigh just under 200 lbs. plenty of room when strung well. does it stretch. yes. afte rhte firs use i had to tighten eh straps I was using. i installed it between 2 of the posts that hold my deck up (under neath the deck in the shade) with 2 2 inch cargo straps with hooks that i had. i set it low because i was afraid it would not hold. when i sit in the hammock it brushed the ground. when i lay down i have plenty of clearance. with no weight the lowest point is about 24 inches from the ground. i could have mounted it higher on my posts or on postes farther away bu tit works just fine for TEN BUCKS. for me i use it after i mow the lawn, im not camping.

Bought this to be a toy net for my daughter stuffed animals. Hung it under her loft bed. Hangs lower than. I wanted but workable and she likes playing on it with her animals. Thanks. For those who plan to use it as intended. Compact, light weight, not 550 cord but a fair sub on the lower end. Anchor rings at end seem solid. Good buy for the price.

This hammock is exactly what I was looking for to put on the bow of my 26' sailboat. When tied directly from the steel rings this hammock fits between the mast and forestay of my boat perfectly. It looks like a straight line when someone is not lounging in it. It is not however very wide --i think wide enough. My arms can get in it, and I'm sure it will stretch. All hammocks stretch and it's day one. I've got it at about chest level and when I get in my rear end is about one foot from deck. If this ever breaks or gets disgusting from seagull sh**, for $10 I'll buy another in a heartbeat.

Bought this to camp in, and if you're willing to pick up a cheap mosquito net and a set of straps (both of which I found a bargain on) it's not a bad option. It's tricky to get in and out until you've got the hang of it, and trickier still with a sleeping bag nestled into it and a mosquito net to contend with, but that's just a learning curve. Once you've got the hang of that, it's actually a very comfortable way to sleep, a good distance off the ground and away from the critters, and a nice relaxing sway. If you're getting it for general lounging purposes, rather than sleeping in it, consider this five stars. It's nothing fancy, and it isn't big, but for this price you could get more than one if you'd like to hang next to a friend. I love how light and compact it is-- in fact, my straps came in a little carrying bag, and this even squeezes right in with them. The rope seems to be of a good enough quality that if you took it in during the nastier weather, especially snow or heavy rain, it would likely survive a few years of use. That's a bargain in my book!

I'm broad shouldered, so maybe I'm not the best judge. It's great for my 70 lbs kid, but for an average size adult male? Not so great. Also... It's a bit on the cheaply made side.

This hammock is light weight, but rather thin. It works great for a child but it is probably too narrow for the average adult.
