The media could not be loaded. Ok I was sceptical about this. I was so wrong. I am 5'6" 170lbs, I have an hour glass figure. I wear a size 12 in most clothes so I bought the XL. Well I felt that it was to big around the waist area, so I asked my daughter to try it on. She is a little bit bigger than me, like a size 16,18. The XL fit her perfectly so I ordered a Large and it fits perfect. Not to mention it is comfortable, breathable and really does push in you stomach h in a little bit to give you a more conformed figure. I also like the way it comes down to right above your pubic bone and sits low on your hips. Easy to breathe in, soft, and comfortable. I’m 5’3” and about 172 lbs. My waist measures about 34”. I bought a size Large to help pull me in and make my waist smaller. Based on the chart provided, I would have needed an XL. I went with a L because I wanted to really see results. When it arrived, I was very impressed with the material as well as the row of hooks, the extra set and zipper. However, upon putting it on. It was like putting on a shirt or something. There was no pull and nothing snatched at all. It is comfortable, but I’d need at least a medium to get a smaller waist…maybe even a small. I had already order a size smaller than suggested so now I’m not sure what to do. I love how comfortable it is but maybe that is part of the problem. It was just like wearing clothes not a Faja/binder. I’m not sure if I should exchange it for a medium or just give up a find a different brand. My suggestion is definitely go 1 - 2 sizes smaller. Maybe 3 if you really want it look smaller. It just doesn’t do what it claims to do for me. ... show more

I went by the sizing chart which said I should get a 2XL but it was so big on me there was no more compression than if I was wearing a tank top. So I downsized to a Medium (my usual size in shapewear) and I could still hook it up on the tightest hook. Due to its stretchiness, the compression also wasn’t there. And it rolled up on my hips. I’ve been searching for different waist binders due to recent surgery. I’ve bought spanx and other hard to put on fajas. This one is my favorite one!!!! I didn’t want to fuss with having to remove an over torso underwear every time I use the restroom-I drink a lot of water). This is definitely the easier option. The fabric is soft and it contours with your body. I am pear shaped and although it looks like a tube as others mention here, it contoured to match my body. For reference, I’m 5’4 and weigh 150 lbs.
