Ok I was sceptical about this. I was so wrong. I am 5'6" 170lbs, I have an hour glass figure. I wear a size 12 in most clothes so I bought the XL. Well I felt that it was to big around the waist area, so I asked my daughter to try it on. She is a little bit bigger than me, like a size 16,18. The XL fit her perfectly so I ordered a Large and it fits perfect. Not to mention it is comfortable, breathable and really does push in you stomach h in a little bit to give you a more conformed figure. I also like the way it comes down to right above your pubic bone and sits low on your hips. Easy to breathe in, soft, and comfortable. It is so comfortable. I absolutely love this for posture while I sit at a desk all day for work. I can breathe in it just fine and there’s nothing poking me uncomfortably. Highly recommend!

Overall a good product. Very comfortable, fits well, and helps give that hourglass shape to one's waist. The ribs will dig into your hips after a while, so don't expect long term comfort with this thing. Also loses major points in the aesthetic department due to the obvious metal ribs and bulky zipper. I went by the sizing chart which said I should get a 2XL but it was so big on me there was no more compression than if I was wearing a tank top. So I downsized to a Medium (my usual size in shapewear) and I could still hook it up on the tightest hook. Due to its stretchiness, the compression also wasn’t there. And it rolled up on my hips. Really wanted to like this. The material was really soft and breathable so I gave this 2 stars for that. ... show more
