If you tend to push your sunglasses up onto your head and end up with the nosepiece getting tangled in your hair, buy these instead!! My daughter likes them so much that two of her sisters decided they’d like them too. This is how I ended up purchasing two pairs. Our kids are lifeguards so protecting their eyes is as crucial as protecting their skin from the sun, and polarized glasses keep away the glare off the water so they can keep a much closer eye on the people in the water without being blinded since seconds count when someone is in distress in the water. They are lightweight for use during their all-day shifts, the colors are as expected (cute!), they come with nice cases (bonus for protection when they actually take them off fully) & a cleaning cloth which is always helpful. They seem durable, but my kids will put them to the test. At this price point, though, it won’t feel unreasonable to replace them once or twice a year which I would never want to do with the pricey brands. These get an A+ from me, two teens and a 20-year-old!

I love sunglasses and have always had one or more “high end” shades, and a smattering of inexpensive, fun sunnies that I’m not afraid to beat up or lose. In the latter category, these are probably the best bang for buck shades I’ve ever tried, on 3 counts: 1) Build. Anodized aluminum temples (arms) look and feel great, light frame, tight quality feeling hinges. 2) Optics. What?! At this ridiculous price these are very nice composite lenses. Super clear and the polarization is LEGIT. (I tested by rotating 90 degrees against my Oakleys and total blackout).. And 3) Color combos! I’m probably gonna order more of the same design in different color ways to suit my mood. Why not. Cool shape, great build quality, fun choices. Punches WAY above the price point. Color me impressed. My white frame, brown temples, brown lenses took good care of me all through Lolla weekend! Seriously, not garbage.

I need sunglasses with with a light tint. I believe Merry's were supposed to be lightly tinted so I ordered them. Very happy with the light tint and the quality construction. The arms (hands?) open slowly because they are fastened with a quality hinge. The glasses come with leather pouch and all this for less than $18 including, tax. They also have a cool look with the mirror lenses. These are quality sunglasses.

On the lookout for new sunglasses, I overheard an acquaintance talking about Merry's in a very positive way. I liked the look and style so when I got home I did a quick search to find out the price. When I saw it was +/- $13 I was shocked and a bit skeptical. But I placed an order and took a chance. PACKAGE: They spared no expense on what's in the box. It's a decent hard side box! Opening it up reveals a hard shell case, a soft bag, and a cleaning cloth. The case and bag are really nice. The cleaning cloth kind of pushes things around and it takes some polishing to get them clean. BUILD: These are built very well. The sides are metal, with rubber inserts. They seem very durable. The hinges are snug, the metal is solid. The rubber inserts over the ears should help keep the glasses in place during physical activity. The inserts are very tight, likely molded in place and should not fall out. I've worn nothing but Oakley polarized glasses for almost 10 years and I'm not upset about the quality of the Merry's lenses. Side note: I have a hard time lately with the rising prices of Oakley's. I recently started looking for a pair of Frogskins only to find that they are almost $200 for the polarized versions from the Oakley store. LENSES: The polarized lenses are clear and crisp. I'm really pretty shocked at their quality for the cost. However, this is where their biggest flaw shows up, and it's the only reason my review is 4 stars instead of 5. The lenses are wonderful, looking out of them... However, as this design does not wrap around the head there is a LOT of glare on the inside of the lens if the light source is behind you. If they had an anti-glare coating on the inside of the lens they would get 5 stars. CONCLUSION: I took a shot on a cheap pair of sunglasses and I'd call it a success. I will probably order another pair in a different color. If I tried them out and didn't know the price, I would have expected them to be more in the $50 range, not $12.91. These are really great quality, better-than-reasonably priced sunglasses.

I love these Merrys. I have purchased more than a few of these....because I lose them often. These are at a great price-point. They are well-made....I have never broken a pair... I just lose them. The designs they have are timeless. I will always rock a pair (and a spare) of Merrys. Highly recommend.

Love them. Absolutely gorgeous quality. They feel strong nothing flimsy about them. Fit was great. Excellent price and made laying out a lot more pleasant this summer in the back yard by my pool. My vision is thankful. And it blocked the sun from these stupid spots I have from my biological father's side of the family getting darker. Pros of being Sicilian, a lot .. one being quick to tan. Cons of a liver spot like age thing on his side of the family, con. I'm full blooded born in the US, on the west coast. Being in the sun is easy to do here haha. Having these age spot whatever things darkening alongside my tan, not a fan!!! If you're on the fence, don't be. Excellent quality.
