I bought this shoe for every day use in cold NYC winter days. Im very happy with the fit. My feet is narrow and longer than usual size in women shoes so i most of the time wear men shoes. These boots has a great arch support and a natural shape in the front what does not squeeze y toes together. Im a size 11Us in women shoes and 9,5Us in men shoes. These Boots feel as if they are already broken in. Very comfortable even after a long day of working on my feet. The only down side is if you are working outside in soft soil or muddy conditions, the tread of these boots really dig in and hold on to the mud. I've been a Merrill fan for a while now; they make shoes that don't hurt my high-arched feet. A pair of superfeet insoles and I'm good to go! They're durable and they look awesome. I think the soles are replaceable too.

I was really concerned these would not be as good as the Moab 2s I have worn for almost two years, but they absolutely are! Comfortable and lightweight but still have good ankle support which is a must for me. They're comfortable for me for about 5-7 hours in cooler weather and about 3-4 when it's hot. Same as the Moab 2s or any quality hiking boot I've owned. I have some non-waterproof hikers for when it's really hot and that works out good so these last a while. They're not cheap because they're not cheaply made. ... show more

Very comfortable hiking boots and didn’t even have to break into them. Very similar to my old Merrell hiking boots that I used for 10 years and were also waterproof.
