This is a great desk for the money! It is very sturdy and it maximizes space with it's L Shaped design. I needed something smaller than a typical executive desk but big enough to do work on and this desk did the trick. The desk itself is very smooth but offers a bit of a rustic look. I also looked at other desks while I was shopping but this best met our needs so I ordered it. It arrived on time, and to my surprise, undamaged. I mean, not a single scratch. I don't normally leave comments on products that I buy but I had to for this one. I was so happy with the whole ordeal from the packaging to the finale product. The instructions were so easy to read and understand. Everything was marked properly. The predrilled holes were placed precisely. All the hardware was present and properly marked. Took no time at all to put together and well made. I got this as a duel work space for my husband and myself. I needed a quick desk for my office, but had a tight budget, found this desk and loved the color, keeping my office bright. But while assembly I noticed that it is made with basic press board with a light laminate finish. First client to my office set keys on them, and child was playing with keys, when they left I noticed small scratches down to the wood, so ordered a clear desk cover to protect the desk, not feeling like this will last long but hopping to get a few years out of it before it looks to bad and have to replace it. You get what you pay for so keep that in mind, depending on use as well, I work daily from a home office. Update it has been about 6 months now and desk is wabbly and one of the cross sections broke and had to glued it. I work at the desk every day so time for a new one that is not pressboard with thin film over it, scratches easy. ... show more

I spent so much time researching and looking for the “right” desk and constantly kept coming back to this one!! I finally decided to order and could not be happier!! It’s the perfect size, it’s so sturdy, was shipped within a reasonable amount of time, and I received it damage free! My husband and I are pretty good at putting furniture together but the directions were so easy to follow. We had it put together in about an hour! My only complaint or draw back is that the manufacturer doesn’t have the assembly instructions on their website.
