I am not one to write review but this bed is so amazing. I brought it for my boys worried that it would be to high it is perfect. The slide, the stairs, and the ladder are all interchangeable and allows for a lot of customization. The assembly works best with two people but I did 75% without the extra help while 4 months pregnant. The instructions were easy to follow and I was able to put it together in one sitting. The bed was what I was expecting for the most part but some of the pieces split super easily. One of those pieces was a board for the upper railing and obviously that's a concern. Waiting on a reply from the company replacement pieces.

    • Came together well after a tough build
Highly recommend one drill for phillips bit and another with an allen wrench bit and extension for that. Having a work table made a difference too so I could stand up put everything together. I kept all the boxed pieces together and then referenced the big instruction page that had the entire bed together with the labeled pieces to make piles for thing like the stair pieces, the roof, the top bunk etc. I did all the little pieces together first and then we brought all the individual smaller pieces upstairs and put those together. There was a decent amount of pieces with no stickers so I kept those with the pieces it was grouped with and had to figure out from the picture what piece I was missing and what I needed. The parts page was useful for that bc some pieces looked alike. I worked on it for a few hours here and there over the course of a week by myself. My husband put all the big pieces together by himself (against my liking). It required such precision, I honestly didnt want to work on it with anyone else bc there was so many parts and too much room for error if things werent done right or pieces got lost. The bed overall is great. I love how its not open so they cant just fall or jump off and itll be used for many years before its outgrown because it isnt too babyish. My 3yo loves to sleep on top bunk. My 1 yr old loves to play in there with her with the stairs and slide. The trundle is used for storage but itll be great when they are older and want to do sleep overs. I wanted the stairs that had storage and they were also much safer than a ladder so I love that feature. The slide angles out further than other options that were too steep. It can also be removed if it isnt a desired feature. My nieces and nephews slept in it when they visited and they are 6ft and slept comfortably. I dont have a picture on the computer to uplooad but it really is just as pictured. Recommend checking measurements in room to make sure it will fit height wise as well as width wise. We have a rocker on the side of it and the stairs pushed to side wall. Be careful not to butt up against the wall like I did bc then the hand rail will pinch their fingers against the wall. The bed is really heavy to move! The pieces arent as sturdy as Id want them to be but that can always be adjusted by applying more slats. I just make sure they know not to hang onto the house side pieces or jump on the top bed which is hard anyways giving the roof is in the way. I highly recommend bc it succeeded expectations and covered all the basic needs as far as safety, storage, and longevity. ... show more
