I ordered 4 of the “used” bar stools and they are all in perfect shape. Yes, the boxes were damaged but the chairs were very well packaged so they were all in perfect condition. I had a bit of trouble assembling the first chair…but, I don’t follow directions very well. My husband took over and assembled all 4 in less than an hour. Love them! ... show more

When you read reviews, beware that you are NOT getting the same quality previously reviewed. I purchased three cream ones about 9 months ago and loved them! So much that I purchased one black one in 2/2024 to see if it would look okay around our basement island. After construction was complete, I ordered three more. I had to wait bc they were on back order for quite awhile. Now I know why. They are NOT the same quality which is disappointing. The cost is the same but they no longer come pre-assembled (as they have previously). The old ones were welded together and super strong/sturdy. These are a POS! I need another one bc I wanted 5 total, but now I just want to ship all of them back. These you have to out together. No matter what you do, screws will never compare to them coming pre-assembled and welded together. Save yourself the heartache and buy another brand. These now suck and it’s really unfortunate bc they WERE excellent. Past tense. ... show more

UPDATE -so after ordering the first one and decided that it was OK I went ahead and placed an order for a second one the second one came and was so wobbly because the legs were different sizes that it had to be returned. The chairs come with little caps on each leg where you can make some adjustments, but very little adjustments can be made. This last stool was manufactured poorly. It wasn’t now my floors being that uneven. Also After sitting on first one for a week the real ones from Denver Modern are way more comfy. These ones are much harder seating And after short period you want to get up compared to Denver Modern. I have decided that you get what you pay for so I am just going to buy the nicer ones So I have 4 of real ones but wanted 2 more as extra seating but didn’t want spend $2k on extras. Overall they are fine but Denver ones are wider, 2 inches shorter in seat height, little more comfy and of course real Leather. Considering you can buy 3 of these for price one Denver they work fine. I may eventually purchase 2 more Denver in future to replace Meridian ones not sure. We will see how they hold up and if economy gets better I would spend to get the real ones. When you look at them in real life, you can definitely see the real ones look classier and nicer. Of course Denver only makes 24 inch and 30 inch so if you need in between those sizes these are great Option at 26.4 inches. All in all satisfied with my purchase ... show more

The look high end and the soft tan matches well. The building of stools is a bit confusing due to 3 rods of slightly various thickness and it does connect better with a power tool instead of the small wrench they have given to screw. Those didn't quite tighten the legs and they were swaying back and forth. So power tools for a quick assembly is the way to go with these. ... show more
